How do I play original W3 Roc and TFT?

I'm sure it's been asked and answered before, but can someone help me? I'm trying to play my old versions. I bought them online and I have the game key code. I can see them in my battle.net account, just can't open them.

Currently you can only play what is called Reforged, patch/game version 1.32+ which is downloaded by B.net. If you want the old game try these:
Warcraft 3 Legacy Installer (1.21b - 1.27a) Warcraft III legacy installer (marcraft)

Patch 1.30.4 Backup Game Files 1.30.4 archive (tommi gustafsson)
Patch 1.31.1 Backup Files 1.31.1 archive (masterblaster)

You might need a Windows XP machine running SP3. I am not sure if the CD check worked with Windows 7 as it was removed around that time.

There's also gameranger, and eurobattle, rgc, irinabot, netease if you wanted to play multiplayer wc3 instead of rf3. Potentially more like radmin and other stuff but usually requires you to have some players already. Gameranger, irinabot and netease seem to be the only reliable servers left with a lot of players.

I am pretty sure CD protection was removed around the 1.21 patches. So 1.31.1 and even slightly older already had the CD protection removed. Just the error was still shown during any sort of bootup error.
