The world has gone into complete chaos, war raged over the lands, villages burned, and cities crumbled to dust all caused by violent adventurers, enraged mutants, lost beings and bored people. Soon, the kings decided to build an arena and seal it with a very strong magical force that traps chaos. They directed all of the troublemakers into that arena so that peace will be regained in the lands.
MAP FEATURES
Hive Arena is an Arena/AOS/Mini-Game/RPG/Survival map. So, basically, it's a Hybrid map.
Features periodic events for each player that will either make their hero fight with a unique boss, allow them to play a mini-game or fight in a duel against other players.
The terrain would replicate a dark jungle with limited sight range. This allows some ambush or a quick escape.
This map will be featuring hero concepts based on users here on hive. There are also heroes that are just there "For Fun" and also features heroes from Hero contests held here at hiveworkshop. :3
All players will be sharing one area to buy their items but their heroes will be invulnerable while buying equipments to prevent them from killing other heroes on that area. This area will also serve as a sanctuary to dying heroes.

CroMoX was once a Lord of a Kingdom, until one day his walls were attacked by dark forces. He and his men fought bravely against hordes of undead monsters for several months on end. One day dark forces sent in a demonic ghost into his walls, while he was sleeping and was stabbed while he was asleep. He was found later on in the morning by his brother, where his brother ordered him to be sent to a Necromancer, which was a great crime but under certain conditions was allowed. The Necromancer agreed to bring him back to life, but with a no guarantee that he would be sane. That night devilish acts were called upon, creating blight patches around the tent. His eyes opened, and he stood up, but he was no more the Lord he was remembered by he was cursed. He killed the necromancer, and then slaughtered all the villagers. Level 2 - 40 Bonus Damage, 6% bonus MS, -12% attack speed.
Level 3 - 55 Bonus Damage, 7% bonus MS, -14% attack speed.

Lucifer's Smite (This is not the inferno ability, since it does not summon a infernal)
CroMoX calls upon lucifer to grant him his wish, calling down a meteor on a target, stunning the target for 2.5 seconds and dealing area effect (250) damage around the target.

The whole Citizens , and Warriors are fight also Brhundle. After a hour of fight the Quel'Thalas was defeated. The others are tried to escape the Undead. Brhundle was luckily escaped from the Undead. Daffa_Mage is a Hero who is said only human with supernatural senses that can see it, during the war of Lordaeron, he appear in the mist of battle and destroy half of the undead forces without being seen, he is capable of destroying Azeroth with his spells, but this also results that he is hunted by every race because of his power, during the fall of Dalaran, he appear for a second and disappear again, but in the process he slay 70% of the undead forces and delay Dalaran's fall, until today, nobody know where he is actually. Every person desires a life of fame and fortune, but for Grafft, he was born with it. The Endalion Circus is perhaps the most widely known traveling circus in the lands of man and is also the most widely attended. The star of the show was no other than the "King", Grafft the Entertainer. His wide array of tricks have always brought a spark into his audiences eyes, and any child seeing that trick would want to be like him as well. Although, the abilities of Grafft are not confined into just petty magic tricks.
When the arena bells were sounded, Grafft saw this as an opportunity to assist his fellow men and show the world that he is not just an entertainer, but a mage. Grafft now uses his understanding of the arcane to both dazzle his friends and bring his enemies unto their knees. Just make sure you don't cross paths with this guy and you're fine. Attention Hog - Passive
Every attack dealt to Grafft increases his proficiency, giving him bonus Resistance and Armor for a short duration. Stacks up to 4-7 times.
Red Carpet - Point Target
Grafft zooms into the target location while rolling down a red carpet behind him. Any allied unit that steps in the red carpet gains a small movement speed bonus and a set amount of gold. The red carpet lasts for a short duration.
Kings Cape - Unit Target
Grafft dashes into the enemy hero slams his cape to that enemy hero, dealing minimal damage and revealing the enemies location for a moderate duration. Grafft may cast this again after a short delay to return to his previous location.
Grand Finale - No Target
Grafft does his final trick, giving global a moderate attack damage bonus to all friendly heroes and slowing all enemy heroes as well as revealing their location, all for a moderate duration. After the total duration is over, Grafft gains bonus movement speed based on the number of units affected for the same duration as well.
Cold Embrace - No Target
Revontrey surrounds himself with a cloak of ice, reducing all incoming damage by a set amount for a short duration. When the duration is over, Revontrey heals himself with a small portion of the total damage dealt.
Stalagmite - Unit Target
Revontrey fires off an icy spike at the target unit, dealing a set amount of magical damage and slowing it for a short duration.
Adaptability - Passive
The bitter north has taught Revontrey to adapt into his environment, this causes every attack damage dealt to Revontrey over a period of time be reduced by a small percent per attack. These buffs are removed upon the withdrawal of the enemy. Stacks up to 3-6 times.
Stalwart Might - No Target
Revontrey increases his own power by a large amount, increasing his attack damage and making every hit increase his Critical Chance but also lower his Critical Power. Casting the ability takes a portion of Revontrey's health and lasts for a short-medium duration. All bonuses are lost when the duration is over or when the Critical Power reaches 0%.

Once worked on a facility, The_Optimizer, accidentally broke the fabric space time, corrupting it's mind as time passes by. With it's powerful knowledge about space and time, the Obsidian Mindflayer is able to knockback nearby enemy units, and able to teleport for a short distance while leaving a copy behind. The Obsidian Mindflayer's chaotic mind also, can slow down the speed of nearby enemy units and allow them to take more damage while boosting nearby allied units. The Mindflayer structs nearby enemy units' mind and body with chaotic powers, confusing them and allows them to take more damage from both physical and magical attacks.

Arachne was a survivor of The Battle of Mount Hyjal, but horribly scared. The Night Elf/Human/Orc alliance put him down in the name of 'mercy' but did so cruelly. He was revived as a slave of the Scourge for some time, but eventually joined the Forsaken after the Scourge erupted in civil war. Qaboos was infuriated as he came to know Ken, the Mysterious Wanderer,
the reaper of his souls had joined some silly eternal war called "Hive Arena".

The Master Dunker turns invisible for a short time, while invisible the dunk master has maximum speed and can move through units, if he hits anybody while invisible he dunks him for bonus damage.
Damage is based on how long the enemy stays in the shockwave and by how many shockwaves it was hit.

wind mastery
having mastered the element of wind, moose impacts a blast of wind at the enemy, dealing damage and stunning them.

having mastered the element of water, moose can provide aid to his allies.
Level 1: Heals an ally for 150 health points.

fire mastery
having mastered the element of fire, moose uses the fire to create an aura which damages the nearby enemies, draining his mana per second.

Yes. Two heroes for the Hive tavern or whatever its called. Hera_ or Juno also said that the "fun" tavern is also looking for suggestions. So I guess there's no current limit atm.

Guys, I have no idea how a jungle arena would look like and I really don't like to terrain right now so I'm gonna use the small terrain I have for now and focus on the spells and systems first.
I'll try to release an alpha as soon as possible.
EDIT: Guys, which hotkeys do you prefer? QWER? ZXCV? or the random letter Hotkeys?
What is the exact difference between normal heroes and the 'for fun' heroes? are the for fun heroes playable in the game? will thye only be visible? or are they only mentioned on the forums because making heroes is fun?
