Hero ideas!

Me and GAniksdal is working on a map now. It is hero defense. We need hero ideas. The heroes shall be something special with.

Like tauren sending a shockwave with every attack, Arthas smashing his hammer damaging 70% to all inn 250 radius, or a ranger dealing low damage and shots 3 shots at the same time.

Your examples aren't that specific for me.
What kind of Heroes? Is he/she like the ones in DotA?
With Stats? Skills?

Or is it like those in RPG games that one has a special ability that no one else has, and by that I mean only one or two tops.

* Wisp- haves an aura of mana regen, and receives 25% more effects based on magic.

* Arthas with sword- do area damage in conic pattern since he fights with wide swings of the blade.

*any paladin with hammer/tauren( common or chieftain)/ mountain giant.- pushes anyunit it hits because fo the streght of its attacks

*Keeper of the Groove- his attack animation has an "dust" that spills of his hand, so his attack should have an enchanted seed wave that slows the enemy gradually.

* Demon Hunter- also do area damage, but if will be in conic area or to everyone around depends of the attack animation.

* Grom or blademaster, everytime the attack animation is that jump and cleaving one if should do line damage, slashing even the ground.

* Treant or Acient- Should be able to abandon its actual body and posses some other tree ( both of the cenario just for regen, or an ability that allows it to spawn bigger trees granting then spceial bonuses depending of the tree sprouted/possessed).

* blood mage- his spheres should explode doing area damage since they not return after the attack.

* Naga seawitch-the serpent at her head could spit poison on targets that come too near.
 
there is scorpion182's hero in the hero contest #3 that has a lightning attack(with burst speedmovement) with every command every 15 seconds. obviously you can reduce the cooldown to like 1-3 seconds or whatever.

you can check out that contest for even more ideas of course, that just sprung to mind right away.
 
Darkseer --- Dimension Swap --- On every attacks, there is a chance that the attacked unit goes in another dimension, Becoming Fully invisible to enemy units but will take X damage and will loose X Mana every second for 3 second. While unit is affected by Dimension Swap, he cannot move or attack.

Tinker --- Rocket Transform --- When Tinker's hit points are under 10%, he automaticly transforms in a rocket, His movement Speed highly increase and will have the choice to flee or he will also be able to Explode him self on a Target point. Last 5 seconds.
 
Darkseer --- Dimension Swap --- On every attacks, there is a chance that the attacked unit goes in another dimension, Becoming Fully invisible to enemy units but will take X damage and will loose X Mana every second for 3 second. While unit is affected by Dimension Swap, he cannot move or attack.

I loved the Darkseer idea at once, but the tinker idea don't fit in the map, because heroes don't get damaged. +rep and credits :)

Name: Sellic
Class Type: Assasin
Type: Assasin/Theif
Spell 1: Backstab, every time Sellic attacks a unit there is a X% chanse that he jumps behind the enemy and dealing his agi in extra damage.
Spell 2: Riot Daggers, Sellic throws his daggers at a targeted area dealing minor damage and slowing units by 50% for X seconds.
Spell 3: Greed, when Sellic kills a unit he will get X extra gold.
Ultimate: Sinister Strike, Sellic rushes towards the enemies dealing X damage to all units in his way.

1. Hero name - Earth Elemental
Special thing - Magnitude - Every time he attacks, a light earthquake will shake at his location, stunning units nearby him for x seconds and dealing x dps.

2. Hero name - Machine Warrior
Special thing - Technology - When he is targeted by a spell, he has a x% chance of preventing the cast and draining mana.

3. Hero name - Black Soul
Special thing - Pain - Every time he is attacked x% of the attackers attack is deflected.

Naga SeaWitch
Ability Name: Stone Gaze
if the seawitch is attacked( or any condition you want ) there is a x chance enemies turn to stone( stunned )
Lasts x seconds

Anub'Arak
Ability Name: Pestilence
the Nerubian releases a pestilence that bounces off x number of enemy units, infected units would lose control and attack the unit closest to it.
Lasts x seconds

Wildkin
Ability Name: Scorching Winds
Releases a Gust of Wind that pushes back enemy units in a line. pushed units would receive x damage pero units it comes contact with while being pushed. Gust of Wind travels x distance.

Obsidian Destroyer
Ability Name: Black Hole
creates a portal to another dimension at a target location, dragging enemies in x AOE to the portal. enemies that would come contact with the portal would dissappear( die instantly )
Lasts x seconds
 
Name-Marine(can also be Riflemen)
Type-Agility
Spells
1)-Bravery aura(The Marine's braveness gives strength to nearby units)
2)- FIRE IN THE HOLE!(The marine throws a grenade to a targeted area which deals x damage
3)-Agility Increase(The marine's agility increases)
4)-Machine gun(The Marine Equips a machine gun which temporary increases his agility by x%

Time Mage (Jaina Model)
- Time Flux: When the Time Mage is attacked, there is a chance that all enemy units within a large area around the Time Mage will be frozen in time (attack, movement and animation speed set to 0%) for 1 second

Scavenger Demon(Ghoul Model)
- Chew Armor: With every attack, the Scavenger has a chance to devour 1 armor from an attacked enemy and give itself the bonus of 1 armor for a long, but limited, amount of time

Bishop (Priest Model)
- Exorcism: The Bishop has a chance to send healing bolts toward allies from an attacked enemy unit based on a percent of the attacked enemy's max HP

Name:

Class: Butcher

Spells:

1. Killjoy(PAS): Whenever the butcher kills a unit, he gains a temporary damage bonus.

2. Slaughter: The Butcher will brutaly try to tear his target apart, leaving the target bleeding for X seconds, damaged 1dps per 250 health point missing on the target.

EDIT: Didn't see the seconds page, so nevermind this post.

3. Brute Force: The Butcher will hit his target with his axes, dealing X times his strength in damage. The force will send both the Butcher and the target flying backwards.

4. Cannibalize(Ulti): The Butcher will try to devour the target. If the targets hp is under X% he will succesfully eat his target and gain Xhp.
