Hey guys I'm currently in miltiary and I still have a long time ahead of me ._.
The main reason I thought of buying a notebook/netbook (not sure about the differences) is because I'm really bored when I'm in miltiary and I will be able to edit maps in my free time(A LOT of free time)
I took a look online and most of them (around 100-200 euro) had the minimum requirements of WC3, even had better than the recommended requirements.

Will a notebook be able to run WC3 and the WE at a decent FPS?
Will it overheat easily?
Is it worth the money?

The difference between a notebook and a netbook is that a netbook is basically really compact in size but at the cost of performance and generally a disk drive. They're more meant for browsing the internet and other minor tasks. Since you're going to be modding and using the World Editor, I'd really suggest a regular laptop.

Anyway I found this laptop. I think it's on sale and it has free shipping.

It would have no problem running/modding Warcraft III.

If you can, I would really chip in a little bit more to get a better graphics card. I have a lenovo with somewhat similar specs (a bit older), and it can run wc3 just fine but it may not be that great for extended play/mods with higher quality. It has overheated a few times (although it may have worsened over the years) and it can run out of battery relatively quick if you leave it unplugged and play too long. It won't be able to run any modern games either, which is a bit limiting. The one you linked is most likely more recent, but judging by the specs I would assume you'd have a similar experience.

The one TriggerHappy linked is rather nice. According to one benchmark, it can even run sc2 on low settings above 60 fps (which is good considering how cheap it is).

In general, always research your laptop before buying it. Look at the graphics card and search in google for a benchmark for that graphics card. Notebookcheck.net has some pretty nice benchmarks--it'll test with modern games too (if it is recent). If they can run some of those games, then it'll have no problem with wc3.

If you plan on carrying it around a lot, try to look for ones that are lighter or compact.

@TriggerHappy
thanks a lot the notebook you linked is actually pretty goog with a low price.
I'm actually looking for a notebook instead of a laptop because notebooks take
almost half the space regular laptops do and are easier to carry around, not to
mention a lot easier to hide;)
The only "problem" I have is that actually I prefer to

@PurgeandFire
No need for good graphic cards actually, I'm only gonna use my notebook for
wc3 modding, modern games are not my concern, I have a gaming desktop for
that;)

I was actually thinking of buying this and changing the OS to Win7, it's possible from Google Chrome OS to change it to Win7 right?
What do you guys think about this? I find that notebook being perfect for my wc3 modding needs.
