[General] Having multiple maps open at once

Hi guys! So a while ago, I decided to remake my map from scratch, since the original had far too much useless junk and inefficient triggering. However, since I'm remaking it, I want it to be as similar to the original as possible. But having to constantly switch between the two maps (by using the windows button) for references is really slow, and it even froze my laptop before! So I was wondering, is it possible to have 2 maps open at the exact same time? If it is possible, how would I do it?

Not possible I think.

Did you know you can copy terrain also? You can copy the whole terrain of a map and then paste it into another map.
