I have to admit. I came back here expecting nothing but a dead forum but it looks like there were a few major things completed in 2017. Just wanted to post how awesome that is I use to live to mod Warcraft 3 maps(Still live to program, and work on game development in unity also).

I can't find my old Warcraft 3 key or I'd see what kind of map I could work on today. But this is super cool I really want to buy this game again and see what you all are up to.

Hey and welcome back! Yeah we're getting pretty old . Glad you like it.

It should be pretty easy to get a license from Battle.net these days. The guys at Blizzard are working hard at Wc3 these days and it's definitely raising our numbers as well .

I already contacted them to recover my account but they say there is no Zergleb on record(They had a wipe at some point). So I'd have to pay 20 bucks to get back in to this scene.

Actually, with the way things are going, there's a decent chance they make a Warcraft 3 Remastered (ala StarCraft 1) & then release the original for free.
