Well i have this argue with a friend, so i ask here where people are totaly "normal" (in a good way) :D

Hair Straightener for a GUY?
  • Yes, It's Gay.
  • No, It's Ok.
  • Well, Depends how the dude acts.

Be honest, Tell exactly what you think and for real.

Gayness is an atitude, not a hairstyle. I do use a hair straightener from time to time (on special ocasions and such), and girls do seem to be attracted to it, probably because it stands out. Judge for yourself :P

I can't see the problem with it. I mean, the concept is to make your hair straight, right? Is straight hair gay? In that case I'm going to need some tools to un-straighten my hair, 'cause I was born with straight hair.

If you want straight hair, I don't care if you're a guy or a girl, I'm just going to welcome you to the group once you've made the conversion. I personally can't see how guys with curly hair live with themselves, if any kind of hair is gay, that's definitely the one.

I wonder what hair straightener bottles contain.

Edit: Oh wait;

THESE things are straighteners. I thought HSs were bottles with stuff in it which you must dye your hair with in order to make it straight.

Seas =)

This is a 50/50 question. I don't use this stuff but I know many friends of mine the use this and it looks cool. Perhaps this dependent (on) the style of the person.

Ok everyone of my friends that use something like this have black hair - I think I wouldn't like it with blond hair ^^

Else I don't think directly "gay" - and even if it's a gaystyle <-- isn't my problem =)

Well, its just unnatural... females have an instinct to look more attractive to males - all living creatures (like birds and dolphins) have it, and if male is acting femalishly, its unntaural and if he can act "gay", he might have a tendency to this behavior...

That's just bullshit
Seriously. The males IMPRESS the girls in nature. Nowadays we can't fight anymore so we have to look ttly fabulous.

How'd you know?

An above average teenage girl will never go out with unless you are dressed into a pink T-shirt, furry coat, white shoes and have 10 liters of jelly in your hair. Fuck personality, clothing and outlooks are the things that matter.

Just look at a generic couple of your age.

Also, about your points regarding gayness, the word "gay" was used as an adjective describing things that are colorful before it took its current function.

Of course. Do you think it actually matters?

No. 99% of the relationships made in this age are only existant to make short-term individual needs satisfied. Bluntly put, the point is to get laid while you still can, and brag about your success among friends/on the internet.

You're pretty much a virgin if you wear the outfit you described.

What kind of girls are those? I say kill 'em with fire.

Let's talk about the more common meaning of the word. Because that's what he wants to know. Srsly, How does straighting your hairs make you colorful?

LOL.. people judging others as gay for straightening their hair... so silly. I have curly hair, but every time to time, when I feel like it, I straighten my hair. And I can give a rats @$$ whether others think I am 'Gay' or not. Point is, a Gay person is a person who prefers the same sex, rather then the opposite. And just because someone like me, who decides to straighten his long hair because he feels like it, straightens his hair, he shouldn't be judged as gay.

The whole 'outfit' I described is a symbolic reference to the stupid clothing trends that come into existence lately. I came up with those examples in order to emphasise that yes, outlook (=being trendy) is what matters today. It might be surprising but actually, the things I described DO get you forward.

What kind of girls are those? I say kill 'em with fire.

That hardly contradicts my point.

For the sake of simplicity, it doesn't mean the same thing anymore, I was using that as an example for the word changing its meaning over time. Gay, in its current shape and form is not only used to mark one's sexual alignment, but to describe anyone that looks/acts like homosexual people do.

No, straightening your hair won't make you hit on people of the same sex. Use your common sense, for fuck's sakes.

I wasn't asking if using hair straightener makes you gay as in the whole meaning, i was asking if you would see some one who is using a hair straightener will make you think he is gay, happy, totaly weak, a bitch(anything related).

i really despise how the world's society runs like that, so who fucking cares if you got 9 STDs from someone you couldn't care less for if they died, seriously... maturity?
