so this means someone has been using a prog to click on the ads? can the bots possibly do this ..maybe?

Yes. It's a pretty simple script.

But by 'invalid clicks,' it means that the same IP has been clicking it numerous times, or that it has been clicked many times frequently.
Google has to give a certain amount of money each time an ad is clicked, so they tediously monitor the ad-click rates and IP's.

A most distressing development. The AdSense Program Policies states:

Google said:
Invalid Clicks and Impressions
Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include but are not limited to repeated manual clicks or impressions, using robots, automated click and impression generating tools, third-party services that generate clicks or impressions such as paid-to-click, paid-to-surf, autosurf, and click-exchange programs, or any deceptive software.

Will Google team provide a detailed description of if/how/when this was violated?
Can the account be reactivated?

I have seen other website having that problem (and eventually able reactivate their AdSense). Visiters need to remove extension or software that does "preview link" automatic. Google is really stupid about ads, disable account which website adminstration has no control over visiters' browser.

Google could stop this problem by feeding the clicks back to your server and if you detect bot like clicking, you can ban the IP from the site and the ads for a period of time.

But probably they do not. . .

Give it a week and then panic since in a week a lot can happen.
Maybe look for other posible adds to use in the mean time.

Heh, so, in a sense, you could completely screw over a site by developing a bot to repeatedly click all their ads. At least, you can remove their revenue.

Well, not really, because most sites have additional sources of revenue (be it paypal or popups/banners everywhere) so you would just take down one source of income, which would only make things worse because they would get more banners or popups etc in place to make up for it...
