Oh this is simply wonderful. Perfectly whimsical and compact. I agree with your description that it's not outwardly overtly Goblin-y, but then you fix that by including such a beautifully realized portrait model! That guy has loads of character; really evokes the Terran siege tank from starcraft for me.
This is a very nice and creative model, but there are some major issues.
The main problem is that after the model sinks through the floor it should dissappear at the end of the decay animation. Unit models with a decay animation need to have a geoset animation for every geoset to make sure it does not bug out it it is used otherwise.
Please fix this.
Ooo. love it. it has a lot of character to be sure. The Leman Russ to ikillforeyou's Baneblade. The stand 2 animation reminds me of command and conquer's trick tank.
To increase it's potential you could convert its Portrait 2 into second attack for anti-air or artillery and could convert its Stand 2 into a alternate form as a detector tower.
