As you write, it is a reskin. While I admit that it looks quite good, reskins alone are generally not enough to have the map accepted. Therefore set to "substandard".

I'm not fussed about acceptance. Any ideas on how to make it cooler will be much appreciated however.

Edit: Or at least a few stars to match the quality of the reskin.

I normally don't give any stars as rating, except for special circumstances.
I think the maps looks cool enough, but if you want to add something, here are some ideas:
-The map is currently 60-70% grass. More variation would be nice.
-You could add some flames/fires/smoke to the destroyed buildings.
-Maybe replace some creep with Dalaran mutants or something similar.
