Actually, i took my color palette from the halo 3 version which is more towards tan/brown.
Everyone is ofcourse free to skin it if they are displeased, though.

Next will propably be a skirmisher. Then an elite.

Skirmisher? You mean this? If they didn't have it in Halo 3, it's stoopid.

I would do a jackal, but they are just not as cool, and most of all, the feathery "mane" of the skirmisher is much easier to model in a way that looks good than the jackals mohawk. Also, the face looks much more interresting to draw.

I have no trust in the abilities of "343 industries" whatsoever. They talk so much about how they made awesome graphics for halo anniversrary, but all i see is just bright and cartoony, and most significantly lacking the awesome spooky atmosphere that made the old halo games awesome.
