Hiya peeps! I meant to post this last year like a week after my post in my melee altered development thread but I was busy

Presenting my most ambitious project yet, a unconventional campaign based on the world of Koei's Dynasty Warriors. The story will be seen mostly through the eyes of the Kingdom of Cao Wei first.
Story:
The Han Empire was experiencing a decline due to corruption and the influence of the Eunuchs. During this turbulent period, the religious leader Zhang Jiao mobilized his followers to initiate a revolt known as the Yellow Turban Rebellion. In response to this uprising, the Imperial Court designated the Empress' brother, He Jin, to quell the Yellow Turbans, thereby ushering in a new era of chaos that ultimately resulted in the emergence of the Three Kingdoms: Cao Wei, Shu Han, and Sun Wu.
Gameplay Loop:
The gameplay is aos-lite where you control a single Dynasty Warrior (Hero) in a scenario battle map where you help complete specific scenario missions for your faction to tilt the battle in your favor and win for your faction. You have several choices to choose from like which Faction and Dynasty Warrior you want to play in every map to further increases replayability.

Peasants are the weakest Common Troop as they can be defeated in just one hit by almost any character with any weapon. Attacks land units.
Privates will serve as the games' main fodder, coming at the player by the hundreds. They, like peasants, can wield a sword, spear, halberd or pike. Attacks land units.
A support unit from beginning to end, their role is to assist the vanguard by sniping enemies from a long distance with bows and crossbows. Attacks land and air units.
Lieutenants are bodyguards who accompany Officers in battle. Attacks land units.
Powerful mounted warrior. Attacks land units.
Peasants who help build and carry ladders and siege weapons. Attacks land units.

To do list:
I already have the models for both the units and buildings though I still need to do misc fixes (decay anims, teamcolor portrait, attachment refs)
For the terrain, I have reference screenshots from the game(s) to recreate it in War3 world editor.
I don't have the sound bites for the campaign dialogue, just text for the time being. I need to scour Youtube and explore free ai voices.
I will focus on finishing on The Battle of Guan Du, The Battle of Hu Lao Gate and The Yellow Turban Rebellion first. It's probably won't be a single campaign file but split into several maps for efficiency in map development and performance. Maybe once the maps are finished then I will compile it into a single campaign file.
One of the hard parts is brainstorming up unique skills for playable heroes

I'm mostly motivated to make this campaign by the fact no one else are doing remotely adjacent to the Three Kingdoms or Samurai Warriors right now. There's hi1 and valkemiere (Siege of Xiapi) but they haven't posted any updates for like 2 years so yea.
Stats, skills, numbers, graphics, etc may change in the final version.
Inspired by Goblin-Boblin 2 map, DarknessFalls003 map, Lord_JiangWei and Clan Ro3k maps.
