[Altered Melee] Khalanil's Melee Reforged

Khalanil's Melee Reforged (KMR) is a brand new modified melee map, bringing a new spin to Warcraft 3! This map is fairly polished, but additional content is still in the works. Any feedback is welcome!

General
This map mirrors the latest melee patch, with some key exceptions.
  • Heroes have one additional ability, resulting in three active and one passive ability for each.
  • Heroes start with all four basic abilities and can spend one skill point each level after the first to improve an ability
  • One new heroes for each race (more in development)
  • Town hall-type structures can hold up to 4 items
  • Players limited to one hero
Humans

New Hero: The Crusader, a former member of the Paladin order, these holy warriors are driven to eradicate the Undead scourge through any means necessary.
  • Judgment - Damages and slows a target enemy.
  • Avenging Wrath - Empowers the Crusader's attacks for a short time, causing additional damage and healing friendly units.
  • Blessing of Might - Increases the attack damage of a target friendly unit.
  • Retribution Aura - Protects nearby friendly units with a damage shield, harming all melee attackers.
  • Divine Storm - Stuns and causes significant damage to nearby enemies.
Archmage
  • New ability: Flame Shield - Shields a friendly unit with flames that grants bonus armor and deals damage to nearby enemies.
Blood Mage
  • New ability: Arcane Torrent (passive) - Replenishes mana for the Blood Mage and nearby friendly units whenever an ability is cast or channeled.
Mountain King
  • New ability: Second Wind - Heals the Mountain King over a short time.
Paladin
  • New ability: Blessing of Sanctuary - Shields a friendly unit with holy energy, reducing damage for all enemy attacks and giving a chance for piercing attacks to be deflected back against the enemy attacker.
Spellbreaker
  • No longer immune to magic at all times
  • New ability: Magic Defense - While active, the Spellbreaker is immune to magic, but his attacks do not combust mana from enemy casters. This ability can be toggled like the Footman's Defend ability.
Orcs
New Hero: The Overlord, an elite fighter with unsurpassed prowess at the art of war, these savage warriors are adept at carving their way through enemy forces.
  • Execute - Damages a target enemy, causing additional damage to wounded enemies.
  • Sweeping Strike - Damages all nearby enemies.
  • Battle Frenzy - Increases the Overlord's attack rate and movement speed for a short time.
  • Bloodthirst - The Overlord's melee attacks restore health and mana.
  • Warcry - Increases damage and armor for nearby friendly units for a short time.
Blademaster
  • New ability: Meditation - Restores mana and health over time. The Blademaster is unable to move or perform any action while meditating, and attacks will interrupt his meditation.
Farseer
  • New ability: Master of the Elements (passive)- Gives elemental power to nearby friendly units, based on the last spell cast by the Farseer.
    • Rage of Fire (Chain Lightning) - Bonus to attack speed.
    • Grace of Air (Feral Spirit) - Bonus to movement speed.
    • Clarity of Water (Far Sight) - Bonus to mana regeneration.
    • Strength of Earth (Earthquake) - Bonus to attack damage.
Shadow Hunter
  • New ability: Blood Ritual (passive) - Abilities grant Blood Ritual, providing a bonus to attack damage. While Blood Ritual is active, the Shadow Hunter's attacks also restore mana and have a small chance to refresh Blood Ritual.
Tauren Chieftain
  • New ability: Earthmother's Blessing - Increases the damage of a target friendly unit's attacks and restores hit points over time.
Undead
Dark Ranger (now an Undead-only hero)
  • New ability: Soul Harvest - Enemy deaths grant mana to the Dark Ranger.
Crypt Lord
  • New ability: Cocoon - Wraps a non-Hero enemy unit in a cocoon, rendering them unable to act or be targeted. The cocoon can be attacked to free the target early.
Death Knight
  • New ability: Freezing Winds - Summons a bone-chilling tempest, damaging and slowing nearby enemy units.
Dreadlord
  • New ability: Enslave Mind - Seizes control of a non-Hero enemy unit's mind, reducing its attack rate and movement speed and forcing it to fight for the Dread Lord for a short time.
Lich
  • New ability: Withering Cold (passive) - The Lich's attacks weaken the target enemy's flesh, damaging it by a small percentage of its base hit points over a short time. Chilled enemies will remain chilled as long as Withering Cold is active and will take additional damage from Withering Cold.
Night Elves
New Hero: The Archdruid, a wise and powerful wielder of the powers of nature, this mystic hero is exceptional at both strengthening his allies and devastating his enemies.
  • Moonfire - Damages a target enemy over time and grants vision through the enemy target's eyes.
  • Barkskin - Protects a target friendly unit, increasing armor and reducing damage taken from Piercing attacks.
  • Innervate - Restores health and mana for a target friently unit.
  • Lifebloom - The Archruid's abilities cause a nearby friendly unit to be healed over time.
  • Twilight Dream - Silences enemy units in a large area and prevents them from attacking for a short time.
Demon Hunter
  • New ability: Marked for Death - Slows an enemy target's movement speed and causes the Demon Hunter's next attack against the target to deal bonus damage and grant the Demon Hunter increased attack rate and movement speed for a short time. Effects end if the Demon Hunter stops pursuing the marked unit.
Keeper of the Grove
  • New ability: Gift of Cenarius - Reduces all spell damage taken and increases movement speed for a friendly unit.
Priestess of the Moon
  • New ability: Elune's Favor - Heals a friendly target unit and increases its attack rate for a short time.
Warden
  • New ability: Cloak of Protection (passive) - Shrouds the Warden in a cloak of protection, periodically blocking an enemy spell.
