explode skill with no damage (special effect)

How can I make a unit type of undead ghouls to have an explosion on death?

describe: a skill on the ghoul that make them make special effect when they die but not make any damage. (maybe something related to mine explode with 0 damage and somehow add special effect).

There is an Action..

• Unit - Make unit explode on death

Also the skill "revenge" I believe causes the target unit to explode as well.

Pretty simple:

1) Make an ability based on Mine Exploding, set it to 0 damage, and give it to the unit.

2) Make the unit's death type to Can Raise, Does Decay.

3) On the field Unit - Special, give the desired special effect model.


Taaa-daaaaaam!!!!

Unit type of triggering unit equal to "your unit"

Set Point = Position of triggering unit
Create SP at Point
Destroy last created SP
call RemoveLocation(udg_Point)

My system is better, because removing last created special effect can make some effects vanish instantly without begin show.

Why not use a VERY SIMPLE action... the one I suggested first? The one that doesn't compicate things?

Because that single action would require to be triggered on every new unit. What could provoke lag.

Mine is the simpler one. You do that (read the post. Its seriously very very simple), and every unit of the type would explode without needing triggers, no leak, no lag, etc.

Ooh, I just got what you said . Although that would add an ability slot, unless you use disabled spellbook. Still true, your choice is much simpler.

Nope. The ability "Mine - Exploding After Dead" dont takes any slot. Its like Sphere, or Claws of Attack.
