Looks nice, but i think you went a bit lazy on these towers... the death and birth animations are minimalistic - maybe this is how it looks in WotR, but i think you could do more (more vivid particles in the death animation, for instance). Also, they...
Ooh-hoo. What a neat little building. I love it, and with all those in-game textures it could really go for some primal society; Orcs, perhaps almost even Trolls.

While it's not the way Blizzard did things, I like your Birth anim (just straight rising up outta nothing), and I love your Death anim; the split-scene "broken" phase just looks cool.

//EDIT// - How did you make a LotR 'evil eye' with in-game textures??
 
In order to make the Eye of Sauron, I actually had to render it as its own geoset line by line, and then fill it in with a darker portion of the Team-coloured texture.

I intend to use this method with the Tree of Gondor banner, the banner of the Roherrim, and the White Hand in future models.
