Error when pasting weapon RMS

Hello , I just got into modelling and I wanted to copy paste part of weapon ( Jaina staff gem) into Paladin hammer but after i pasted it and attached to bone I got error broken bone or invalid. Any way how to fix or avoid this error ?

It would be best to post the solution and not want to have the thread deleted. It won't anyway.

My solution was instead of moving single vertices ( Points) I just selected properly everything and double checked on empty space that everything is properly attached
