I use my Wireless mouse because i got use to it more then my Laptop's Keypad. And I'm on my laptop 12/7. Do you think it causes cancer?

Maybe they do, but you could get hit by a car tomorrow, when you go out. Or hit by a lightning the next time it rains.

Well see... a wireless mouse or keyboard is using some sort of waves (guys who have physics know what I am talking about)

So there really is something which could have effects on your cells.

But as far as I know the waves are not intense enough and not dangerous.

Do you think ... causes cancer?
Everything causes cancer, cancer is part of life... Everything you eat can cause cancer. Breathing in car fumes can cause cancer. Existing can cause cancer (background radiation). Being born can cause cancer even.

Thus what they are saying could not be untrue but also is trivial. You are exposed to cancer risk all the time with almost everything you do all the time.

So what is cancer? Cancer is when cells of an organisim start to divide in an uncontroled way (normally DNA and hormones and other related biochemical elements control cell division) which cause unnescescary strain on the body and can damage healthy parts of the body (which is why it is often fatal unless removed). Cancer ususally is caused by damage to a specific cell's DNA in such a way its division can no longer be stopped and so the defective cell reproduces and creates more defective reprodcing cells and so on. A common cause can be inheritance (yes you can be born with a tendency to develop cancer at certain ages sadly) and mutations (caused by cell stress, radiation or mutagenic chemicals). Remember that cancer is a specific condition, your body is full of other mutations and they occur all the time but they are usually fatal to the cell or the just do not do anything important (damage to unrelated DNA for the cells function).

So what is all this cancer risk... Basically like I said nearly everything can cause cancer but some activities humans can do are going to have a much higher chance to cause cancer due to excess strain on body repair systems or increased chances of mutation. Being near any excessive source of ionising radiation will logically give you higher chances of cancer if they touch your cells (keep inmind you are always exposed to radiation 24/7 but the dosage is minimal compaired to being near a plutonium ring). Consuming harmful chemicals will also for about the same reason (smoking counts as this). If you do not wish for a son or daughter to develop cancer at an elder age you can screen your DNA for genes which are highly prone before reproducing so you are aware of the risk (sorry if you have such genes but I am afraid they are currently beyond yours or even humanities control and will be so for atleast a while).

The good news is you can reduce the risk of getting cancer, especially in its fatal form. The most effective prevention is to just eat healthilly and keep your body realitivly healthy most of the time (so you can repair any cellular damage effectivly). Secondly if you are going to expose yourself to major risks, make sure to take proper protection and try and keep exposure to as low as possible.

Old people tend to be more prone to cancer as the human body was not genetically designed (via evolution) for a long life expectancy. Thus as humans age our cells are more prone to things like cancer, especially genetic sources, as we have not been evolved for resistance against it. This however might change over the next 10000 years as our lifestyles encourage older ages.

As for wirless keyboards and such. Well next to the electric or magnetic radiation of any electronic system (which is incredably weak due to squared/cubed drop) which is known to interfear with cell mechanics (and thus can cause cancer) there is nothing it emits directly that can cause cancer. The radiowaves it uses are so low frequiency the waves are about the size of cells so they just past through you.

In the end if you start believing things like wirless keyboards or laptops will give you cancer, you are just paranoid.

A better question would be "What DOESN'T cause cancer these days?"
Probably many things, but it's impossible to test as you cannot be affected by only one thing. F.ex. if you play Warcraft III you're most likely sitting on a chair in your room. There could be some radiation coming from a phone in the vicinity, or maybe a ray of light entering your room, or maybe you got one of those monitors which radiates lots of bad stuff, or maybe there's some nasty bacteria in your keyboard. There are tons of things. And if there isn't any ray of light entering your room that could be bad too, because you could get Vitamin D deficiency etc, etc..
