[Trigger] does floating text with timer causes leak?

i mean the floating text that has lifespan using the function "Floating Text - Change lifespan"

is it leak or not? can anybody confirm this?
 
It cant leak, as WC3 has a dedicated 100 sized range for floating text, so even if it did leak, the leak would be finite in size and so can not be any problem at all as 100 floating texts should cause no lag at all.
What if you create 100 floating texts every 0.01 seconds and destroy them immediately? :ugly:

In that (unlikely) case, it would be bad if they would leak. ^^
 
Don't worry it won't leak, DrSuperGood was just saying that if ever it would leak it wouldn't affect the game.

Also you can only have 100 or 99 (?) active texttags at a time.
