I am pretty sure blizzard employees go on the internet and look about things, like fan feedback and stuff. So my question is, does blizzard look on hive and if they do, is there a special rank for a blizzard employee or is it that they are secret and just look at what we discuss and what maps there are? Thanks.

Maybe I'm not so sure! As I read in the support of Blizz, She said she can't wait to see our maps! But the problem is that they never replay or post a commant on the hive, even for the greatest maps and all ressource!?

Perhaps there's an undercover Blizzard employee that we don't know of, maybe it's you. You came up with the idea afterall :p

Its simple: warcraft has 8 letters, Blizzard has 8 letters, 8+8 = 16. Silva has 5 letters, Silva has 114 posts and 27 reputation. 5+27+115 = 147. 147 - 16= 131. The user with 131 Reputation is blizzard Employee confirmed. Thank me later.

There are tons of dudes and doodads around the world checking out stuff on the internet from time to time, and I'm sure employees, staffs, or even fans of Blizzard are sure to visit fan-made sites or should I say mod sites like us to surf in a while.

Yeah, I am also with the moderator, I think blizzard employees do check the website a lot, many not much of them , but its probably for personal reasons less then work reasons, though with the small hype of Warcraft remastered games and other classic games, hopefully they are!

@Dane nicely calculated. or perhaps posts instead of rep.

On another note, like others mentioned I believe some blizzard employees have checked the site before for fan-base and perhaps checking out projects.

I always asked that myself. Like someone from Blizzard comes here and visits models section, for example, and look at Kwaliti's Lich King model and says: "Wow, the fans really kick ass in our old RTS. They even got in a level of modeling with us."
Would be great if someone is here, from Blizzard of course, to see how many people still plays and loves Warcraft(RTS). Maybe that will motivate them to make another RTS, Warcraft 4 perhaps. Just maybe, but now money controls everything so the hope is at minimum...

You are not the only one who wanted or still want make a extension of Warcraft III.So that's not really a prove that you are undercover for blizzard.

Really? Who did make a new extension before? Don't tell me @turno cuz his series are based as the same as WC3 with changes on the events! Or maybe some others who made it but with different personages of the original of warcraft 3 ...

Edit : And preciesly not with the same events based on WoW

I sadly don't think most Blizzard employees play Warcraft 3 normally, that they have played it, definitely. Though there probably or hopefully is some 3-10 of them that still do, either if they are a gm for Warcraft 3, play it for fun, or that they are looking at things to tweak on a remaster that there has been bit more evidence lately.

I'm pretty sure that of several hundreds or thousands of Blizzard employees, at least one of them still plays WC3.
But if so they will do this in private at home. They do not get payed to play games, after all.

So yeah, might be possible there is a blizzard employee reading a hive thread here or there. But probably not for his job. It might be the electrician or the janitor.
