I dreamed about my love a day ago. In RL she loves(d) me and another boy at the same time, but she decided to take him. (he loved her too). I dreamed strange things, like going to her house by a police car ^^ The most strange is, she told me that she also dreamed about me (at the same time). She told me that she dreamed that we were at her house and were together... I felt totally sad after hearing that, because she also told me that it would be cool if it would be really like this in real.
anyway. I just found it a bit strange. so I decided to write it in here ^^

Oh man, that's sad to hear. :S

Anyway, I dreamed that I couldn't calculate a firm's marginal revenue then I woke up and realized that's true. I've yet to sit down and do an exercise with the said example though, laziness ftw.

I had quite some visions that really happened (some soon, some long time after), few of them:

-I dreamed of this place where I live now before moving here and never seeing it before
-I dreamed that my cat died, and he died the next day by jumping under a car
-I dreamed that I meet a certain person (I won't describe him) and so I have about 4 months ago.
-I saw myself in the future about 3 years ago, but it hasn't happened yet (I think it will though from the looks of me currently)

I have visions all the time, they usually are about something that will happen to me, but from time to time it is about other people.

My visions never show good things that will happen to someone, it always shows something that can potentially harm them.

The only way to stop it is if something interferes with the motion of the occurrence in real time. Which I usually interfere and it stops it, but everything happens as it did in the dream, only the person is not in that place when it is supposed to happen.

I almost never have normal "dreams" every night I have another vision, but as Barathrum said, mine could happen the next day, the next week, or the next month. Never know, but when it does happen, I know, because I get a really large feeling of dajavu and then I remember the vision. And that is when I step forward to change the outcome.

This may sound to some of you reading this, as if I am making it up, or "Acting like a hero", but it is far from that, I don't want anyones life taken if I can prevent it.

A few examples of these visions,

-When my father about committed suicide, I managed to get there just in time to stop it.
-When I about got run over by a car, which spun out of control, I stopped dead in my tracks when I remembered the vision, and the car slid in from of me, inches away.
-My sister ran a go kart going top speed under the back of a truck, I was right there, and grabbed a hold of the go kart as she went under, if I hadn't the bumper of the truck would have decapitated her.

That is indeed interesting, haha. I recently had a disturbing nightmare that could somehow relate to this. I dreamt that I was a limo driver in Gothemburg, a relatively large city in Sweden, and I was to pick a client up. I was supposed to escort said client to Munkebäckstorget for reasons I don't recall. It suddenly struck me that I had no clue how to reach said destination, or for that matter I didn't know my way around Gothemburg period, and so I was incredibly frightened about losing my license due to this.

i dreamed getting ripped apart as three fat women with no eyes stood before me, blood dripping from their eyes as their vicious claws teared me apart, my slimy organs slipping around like a fish on land. i felt every single bit and the agony was horrible, i could feel my nerve being cut in half and flying around like a broken electrical cord. the pain rushed through my body and i wanted to cry but i couldnt with the overwhelming horror i suffered

Wow, I recognize this so badly. I'm almost 100% sure some other user posted this exact dream in some other topic.

You have a disturbed mind.

You probably also have a disturbing mind.

@ topic, I have so-called "visions" almost every time I dream, and sometimes when I'm awake. I'm sure there's a logical explanation, like a memory fuck-up.

Also @ topic, I don't dream much. The last few have included science fiction and murder galore. They were pretty fun. The random dreams are always the best.

I dreamed that I was driving around in a ridiculously orange car doing chores for random people, once. I lol'd when I woke up, after reluctantly helping someone else fix my own car for whatever reason.

Hi.

I once had a dream where...

where I first found a tiny piece or crumble of what I could for some reason only identify as human flesh, on the kitchen floor, and for some reason was reminded me of a particular film director as I held it between my thumb and index finger.
I walked spontaneously to the window with the chunk in my hand. In the backyard I could see a skinny, gray cat. It stared me in the eyes. I usually don't experience long eye contact with cats like this. It felt quite awkward.
Then I could hear a voice I identified as coming from the cat as its mouth moved (yes, through window glass). It said: "Peter Jackson ville være..."
In English: "Peter Jackson would have been..."
The sentence was cutoff by a noise of a couple of unfamiliar steps on a quite squeeky floor at that time in my dream - for no apparent reason. The cat sprinted away.

So, I think the red, little chunk of flesh went into my pocket at that time. I forgot about it. Instead I recollected looking for something, and since I was in the kitchen, I started to open the cabinets methodically.
Then out of a cabinet fell a severed cat head as I opened it.

Holysh!
Not long after - I was in terror and all concept of linearity were blurry at this point in the dream - appeared a strange woman through the living room door to the kitchen - or a strange cat, well both in one.
She wore a moldy-looking 20's dress and headband. She had fur. She had cat ears, and cat face with haunting human-cat hybrid eyes, and she had a cat's tail - all adapted to human, feminine outline. She also had breasts in her dress at the same time, two as humans. She looked pregnant, and her walk was thereafter, but also a bit flirtarious. Lastly, her walk had a cat's flexibility adapted as disturbingly as possible, and overexaggerated. Her limbs were elastic/boneless - almost.

Then she friggin talked to me. I can't remember anything of what she said, but I woke up because I was so fucking terrified for some reason, and out of my mind.

And in my second macabre animal dream:

I was at my best friend's home, doing manual dishwashing together with him. At some point, these dishes had uncannilly turned into my best friend's two dogs in many seperated parts. Legs, hindbodies, forebodies, and heads, were all seperated and the water looked like jam.

I didn't feel a shock, for it had come as a slow realization that the dishes were not dishes, but my best friend's dogs in severed parts.
The larger one was an English boxer, and the smaller some kind of bulldog. The larger dog's head looked at me with typical cute dog eyes, and it said something with a low-pitched, muffled voice.

I don't remember what it said, but I remember the voice clearly. It was exactly like you'd imagine a dog would sound if it made its best superdog attempt at speaking. I woke up scared from my senses.

I had them when I was around 15.
Anyway, I just think they're good stories.

It was me.

Ten years ago I had a dream that I was sitting in the hall at college. The building was empty and I was reading a book with blank pages. When I looked up a dark haired, gray-blue eyed girl was sitting on the other side of the hallway. See started talking about the future and how the pages are empty until you turn them. I was really fascinated by what she was saying and the fact that she looked so familiar but I didn't know her (I only ever dream about people I can remember from my life). I asked her what her name was and she said it was "Mill". I asked if I knew her and she said "not yet". I thought that was the weirdest name and It still pops into my head once and a while. I wrote down the dream and occasionally go back to read it. When my daughter was born last month my wife decided to call her Emilia (short name: Milly, or Mill) she has gray-blue eyes and I bet when her hair comes in it will be dark like my wifes. My spine tingles when she looks at me.

That's the weirdest one so far.

It's called lucid dreaming. It takes a lot of practice and meditation. I set up a mental trigger. Whenever I see clouds I ask myself if I'm dreaming. Eventually you get so into the habit of doing it that you do it in your dreams too, once you become aware it's just takes practice to stay asleep. Before I shifted my priorities els ware I was having about 3 Lucid dreams a week. Now, sometimes in my nightmares I realize what's going down and turn them on themselves. You can fly, breath under water and rip things apart just by thinking it.

I never have full control but I can decide what I do next in my dream or say next.
Though, I sometimes think "lol this is going to be a nightmare, I'm sure" and I accidentally think about a really scary twist in the plot and what I though actually happens. I can't change it after thinking it. I've had many women in my dreams though ;)

Even though i am a christian i kinda believe that when you die, u have this so called "Lucid Dream" or it could just be a dream that u just never wake up from and u dont know its a dream yet, but then again... i guess this can also be like heaven... because u can pretty much do/have whatever u want :D hehe

There is a theory in "teh brain science" that states that when you die your consciousness gets stuck in a loop and you experience a false infinity while your brain slowly dies. They attribute near death experiences to this (theorized) mental state.

I don't know how much stock I put in it. Seems far fetched.

Science just doesn't like religion meddling with it, which in the past it has done quite often, so its no surprise that science has bad blood towards religion because it believes that religion will try to meddle with it again. Although its main purpose is to find the truth and gain full understanding of the universe, it does sometimes go out of its way to try and meddle with religion. Be careful with how you use the words proof, evidence, and belief when concerning religion.
Back on-topic, I had a dream yesterday that I was in my backyard staring at the sky and I saw a spiral galaxy racing towards the planet... I know something else happened but it just blurs out, I do remember that a little while before I woke up the sky was burning and snowing, and I was talking to my dad about how much cats suck. Strange dreams are strange, cats are my favorite kind of animal.

My dreams, similar to what some of you guys have decribed are events which occur on a later date to when I have drempt them, however have no recollection of the dream until the event inwhich case I get de ja vu in a consistent chain for about 5 minutes (varies depending on the duration of the forseen event) however they are never dangrous, trajic etc. I simply 'know' whats about to happen and thus I do whats neccercary to avoid negative conflict subconciously.

An example of this would be a few months ago, I dreamt that I was in school, in an RE lesson, and there was some random rage going on against religion in the back of the class, inwhich eventually the whole class became involved. a few weeks later, it occurs exactly as I remembered it. of cource I Have no real ability to prove that these are visions I'm having in my sleep or just subconcious images I get randomly, but I think the former is more likely.

I had a dream where gaga was riding somebody else's disco stick... She was the only girl in the world.
And the DJ got me falling in love again.

Dance dance dance like its the last last last night of your life life..
I mean..

I had a dream that one day every valley was to be exalted, every hill and mountain was to be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

Most of my dreams I don't remember when I wake up, but some I do.

One time I woke up, got dressed, went to school, did everything I normally did, and then I went to bed again. I woke up and realized it was all a dream.

One dream I had when I was four, but somehow still remember it.
I was fishing with my mom and brother, and I had a pile of teddy bears beside me. This giant fish came out of the water, grabbed all my teddy bears and carried them up a waterfall. I was crying and screaming, but my mom and brother just stood there motionless. Then the fish came back, grabbed my foot dragged me into the water and pulled me up the waterfall.
The next day my dad asked if I wanted to go fishing >.> I've also had the exact same dream twice after that-once when I was six, and once when I was ten. I've never forgotten it.

I had a dream where I hacked the Hive and found some really old
porn
in it... Then I woke up.
Another dream was not so nice.
I was at this mansion, there was a party, I walked down a hall and saw one of them aliens from the movie Alien and Predator. I somehow magicly got a chainsaw and sliced its head off. But then I saw a mirror and on the other side was a demented women drawing the alien things, and when she finished drawing it, it started to come through the mirror and it stabbed me through the stomach. I woke up with a pain in stomach like I got stabbed. Strange...
