Hello Everyone,i had a wish to start a thread about dream's,so we could share dream's that really hit us in the hearth after waking up and realising that it was in fact "just a dream".
Well i'll start off first
Last night i dreamt that i made the most perfect cinematic ever made,it was stormwind,it was so perfectly detailed i cant even begin to explain,it was under attack by orc's i even saw the kings chamber, the graphics seemed unreal so much, the entire sity was made somehow horrisontly.
After waking up i was so dissapointed, this ain't the first time i dream something so perfect damn.-.-"

So what's your perfect dream? :goblin_yeah:

I always had this annoying dream where I run so fast but it seems like I am running on a slow pace.

Hahah that is quite annoying :xxd:

Gun control is very strict in my country, you need to be a trained soldier just to touch an assault rifle.

Very wise that they made it strict, but why not follow your dream and become a volunter solder?

I had dreamt of having the ability to fly once, on that dream, I was flying around the house but I couldn't believe it so I pinched myself and it hurt so I was so convinced it was real... until I woke up and found out I was lying on the floor.

There were also those kind of dreams where I talk to my dead relatives and ask them when they'll "pick me" up because I'm really all set, hyped and excited to go and they just smirk at me which annoys me and that feeling wakes me up.

Really?
thats scary my friend.
and yeah you can convince yourself that your beeing hurt, once i had a dream my arm hurts for 3 days and im all unhappy, once i woke up my hand was in a wierd position i stopped my blood from going to the arm so it was cold coudn't move it and it hurt couse of the position i was in,wierd are these things.

My purpose in life are many, but I lost them whenever I lost control of myself.
Well, if you ask, it's sorta like doing what I wish I could, but I don't have the time nor the courage to do it. It motivates me to don't wait and stand there, and do what I did in the dram itself, or at least trying to do it at all possibilities. And yeah, most of them are about apologizes to a person I don't have the courage to apologize and such.

I rarely have the luck to get good dreams and the worst thing when I have them is that when I wake up, I say "WHY THE HELL DID I WAKE UP!?"
Most of my dreams tend to be really tedious or boring (especially about school and my friends). Once I even dreamed that I had more rep than I have now when my internet was cut for two weeks :xxd:
However, I must say that many of my dreams end up with me falling from a very high height and just when I'm about to touch the ground, the dream ends. I guess this happens to you guys too. But I have a little question for you. You had a dream where you were suffering from a big pain. Did it happen to you to wake up and feel this pain for a moment?

i dreamt falling and crushing on the ground but i didin't feel any pain.
As for the question yes as if i slept i placed my hand in a wierd position and totaly stopped my blood from going to my arm and also somehow managed to hurt myself in the process.

@Shadow Fury
Pains? If we're talking physical pains I never get the pain I get in the dreams. But if we're talking of emotional pain, experienced it several times.

@DSG
Maybe try dreaming getting final exams with bad grades then wake up on the day of the exam, that fear...

@NKnight001
I think I ever had one, was it a graveyard or an ancient ruin or something else (bad memory here)? Also, I tend to have dreams with myself at school and stuffs happening around me, and it's very similar to what is I felt of school reality to me.

Dreamt of going into an old house(the house is very old very very old) and it looked as if in the horror movies two weeks later my gf challenges me to go in a similar house(the bitch offered me to go in and she'll let me take her virginity) ofcourse i got in but thats why she's a bitch...

Interesting, pity you don't remember anything else?

I want to know if someone ever dreamed about a place and then actually ended up visiting that place and got a deja vu feeling. Freaky!

Well, I remember partially of the dream, though I have doubt sharing it here.

Let's see, place... Place... Place... Nope, can't think of any, except school xD

Well that escalated quickly hehehe
You know what, don't call your girlfriend a bitch. She made the offer because she trusted you :) If, all that is even real or perhaps you were day dreaming this time :p

alright, I am outta here

After i wrote two weeks i meant in reality, and she made the offer i got in,it wasnt a problem until you can see the enterier,i mean i could film a fucking paranormal activity in the house man you get the chills just by walking in,and no i did not get to fuck her(sorry for the expresion but theres no other way to say it)she didin't let me,so i went trouth my greatest fear and that is dark and creepy placed just for a joke?yes shes a bitch.
Woudn't call her a bitch if she kept the dial on,perhaps we would be together even now,but i dont like people who make dials and i have to go throuth thing i fear the most to get it and then they dont fulfill their part.

It doesn't really matter how many calories you use or how much physical stress you endure. It fucks with your memory, cognitive function and everything that seems important in a job like yours.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_deprivation#On_the_brain

My problem with sleep is that I feel completely awake and energetic after 22:00, when I should be going to sleep. And then I have to wake up early in the morning and I feel like I might pass in the middle of the street.

But everyone is different, it might be totally possible that you just require minimal amounts of sleep.

But how long will it take to reduce the functioning of the prefrontal cortex?

Comparing me to other people in the same job of the same age... My functioning of logic and reasoning is better.
My memory is not that great but I got that far before I slept few.

One night of insufficient sleep is enough, after that you won't be functioning fully the next day (in the study they made the subjects stay awake for 36 hours and then made the measurements if I recall correctly). In addition to effects on memory and cognitive function there are of course the effects on blood pressure and alertness (you're more prone to accidents etc.).

TBH I don't know how much irreversible damage sleep deprivation does, I'm not an expert but I would assume that many negative effects would be diminished by adopting a proper sleep schedule.

I recently read a newspaper article about people who don't require much sleep on one of the more reputable papers in my country. It had a story about a woman who only had to sleep around 4-3 hours a day and functioned fine. So I guess if you don't feel like you're sleep deprived you're fine.

Good advices from Nuclear.

This thread took an interesting turn. Green tea helps keep you alert and induce sleep.
There are a lot of green tea extracts available in capsules these days but they are not as effective as organic green tea. Even better if you can find green tea leaves. There a lot of recipes for green tea broths on the web. Look up and start boiling.

Remember though that green tea is only an aid, you will have to correct your sleep cycle yourself. Wake up early and go to bed on time and slowly your biological clock will stabilize. It takes time but its the only way. In the meanwhile don't use computer or phone late at night and stay away from porn(this is important for those young man who stay up late at night watching free poison). Also it is not required for every one to sleep 8 hours day, different people have different sleep requirements. I for example sleep only about 5 to 6 hours day and stay fit and active.

Lastly remember that you are not an insomniac unless your doctor tells you so. That is a clinical condition. Most young people have disturbed sleep cycles because of all these digital distractions we have these days. If you start living healthy, you will recover in some time :)

Advice: Go to bed early today, all these threads and posts can wait for tomorrow.

Edit: this is advice in general to those who are sleep deprived, not directed at one person. I am a herbalist.

I will take a good nap... when I am tired.

It is theoretically the same as eating one day and the other day you only eat the amount for one day.
With that, you eat half what you actually "need" but you feel even more energetic and healthy that day when you don't eat.
Then you make time that you wouldn't be in the kitchen (if you at least cook yourself).

I know that eating and sleeping are not the same thing but these things are all interesting.

But indeed, you always have to be carefull and step back sometimes to watch if you can physically endure the process.

I am not such a fool that I would kill myself ;)
