Death Knight Leaves, No More Death Knight?

My last two games of AtD (which in fact were awesome for the most part, the architect is by far the most fun class to play) both of the Death Knights left in each game. And after they left, I was like, ok, so we'll have another DK, no problem.

But then I saw the message, no players are eligible to become the death knight or something, when we have like, 7 players in the game. Do you have to have loaded your AtD score in order to become the DK?

Edit: Or is it the highest AtD score becomes DK?

Currently in 2.86 only dead players are chosen to become the Death Knight, but I had that that this might become a problem (Death Knight's leaving in early game).

I will probably make it choose a random player to take over Death Knight since no one seems to mind that happening. I thought originally that people would be upset if they were made to become Death Knight.

Yea i highly agree with that the only reason this did not occur to me is that i play on LAN connection with full house and we play in real life so if someone leaves we BEAT THE **** OUT OF THEM

I can see why you would think that, I totally understand. I wouldn't be upset if a DK left and I had to go DK, because if it means the game goes on, then I'm cool with it. Just make it random selected from all of the alive and dead (dead have first pick over the live ones obviously.)

That is exactly what I did. I have sent CHA_Owner the test version of 2.88 and he will be trying out all of this stuff with his friends, then if all goes well 2.88 will be released within a few days.

Also try to try out the DK replacement system when there are no dead players if you can.

Will do i will also try funny situations in the game like death knight dying .5 seconds after killing last hunter to see what happens

I think I have that one covered but sure be my guest. As in depth as you can get would be awesome because I haven't had any testers in a while.

And why doesn't show up a message where you click on 'yes' or 'no' if you want to replace the deathknight (when there are no deathhunters dead) ?

He has that fixed in the new version to where it randomely selects someone dead or not

Yea its very handy and dark_night did a very good job on the new version just very minor changes are needed
