@Doncha666: OS has nothing to do with it. Either your computer runs warcraft or it doesn't. The map itself is playable.

The map itself became so big that a lot of people have trouble running it what is very demotivating.
It may occur due the large amount of doodads. Imago_ is having his heads somewhere else right now on top.
It was a wonderful project and I played it really often myself. But it's not dead-and-forgotten.
A last big patch may follow if there's enough interest.
If some of you have trouble playing the map try to deactivate unneccessary background processes, it's best played via lan, garena might have some problems.
I for my part never had trouble playing the map (solo or via lan).
When i first played with my brother the game was fantasic a perfect masterpiece! We even went to the last boss in lvl22 while using the secret charecters! But in the fight we became lvl30! We couldnt kill him sadly in the beggining but after 2hours of trying we beat him thank you for the nice map
But the sad part is after a week i wanted to solo the map on normal so the map was loading and then suddenly it freezed! Plz help this map is too great to be wasted by a problem like that!
But in the end nice map i wish the major update would come fast im looking forwards to it!
I played your map in singleplayer and it worked fine. My girlfried used her brand new alienware laptop with windows 8 (I have windows 7). When loading up the map with her, her game froze during the loading screen. Are you sure it has nothing to do with the OS? Other maps work fine.
We really enjoyed your map I have to say! Please, don't let people's problems with running a map in a game from 2002-3(TFT) determine whether you should continue or not.
Your map reminds me of Diablo 1&2 in a very nice way. If a second act was ever to be made, this map would really deserve Director's cut. Also, a few grammar/spelling fixes would be perfect.
Played the map for the first time on Normal mode, single player. It's really not that bad if you don't turn on survival mode, since there's no life counter or anything.
The map is quite fun, and looks great. I had only one noticeable issue: when the game levelled me up to 30 during the final boss fight, my game interface got messed up. All the mouseover text for every single icon, button, and item stopped showing up, health bars were in the wrong places, and there was a red glow framing the screen. This persisted after I beat the boss. As a result, I accidentally completed the game since I couldn't see the description on the button for talking to the captain (I assume it warns you, but I really have no idea).
Side note: I was missing two beer kegs and a quest. Maybe I'll play again and try to find everything...
Had the same issue as @Armored Cat. Boss became invincible and stayed that way and were stuck. We had saved before that boss so exited and attempted to re-load and the save was corrupted. Had the same issue with an earlier save as well.
Good map but to long to play without a reliable save and the chance of bosses becoming perma-invincible. Would love to try this one again if that was fixed.
I really loved the map, I'm not sure if there is a way to resurrect your character because I have only played once and died to the Kraken boss, and saves don't work. I tried to save-load multiple times and it didn't work.
I hope there are no rules against necroposting on a map.
I recently finished this map with a friend and registered just to leave a comment/thanks. I played on Survival/Normal and it took my friend and I about 8 hours of dying/replaying to find two secrets (not including random hero) and survive the 20 quests.
It was possibly the most charming experience I have had in a Warcraft 3 custom map, and I've had a burgeoning interest in customs since 2004. The camera angle was immersive and the terrain exceptionally impressive. The RPG elements were easy to understand but satisfying, and the heroes were mostly fun (I can't really comment on balance, but most heroes felt appropriately power-leveled). The biggest downsides were the lack of save and the fact that we encountered a few crashes and bugs.
Overall I would give this an 8/10, lacking a 9 due to the bugs we encountered. I'm aware that I'm posting over eight years late, but I just wanted to convey my appreciation of this project. You've reignited my passion for creative Warcraft 3 experiences and I can't wait to see what other fantastic maps this game has inspired.
