[General] Custom Water

Hey using custom water from this thread [Terrain] Advanced Water Effects
However it does the following annoying thing where there are square edges from fog of war changing the doodad's colour. Is there anyway to make this look better?

Are those doodads? There is some show/animate in fog property.

Even if they animate in fog (which afaik actually only effects waterfalls) they still turn darker when in fog of war causing those ugly lines of fog of warred water.
Edit:
To clarify the problem is in the first image. The square edge of fog of war makes it look rather poor. The second and third images show that it looks fine if you can see all contiguous water tiles or none of them.
