Crossed Rivers v1.2

This bundle is marked as substandard. It may contain bugs, not perform optimally or otherwise be in violation of the submission rules.
Two isolated pieces of land joined by bridges that connect to an central island crate an environment where fast expanding is very easy, random resources hidden around the map can give you a boost to pull up a bigger army and try to crush your opponent in early game.
When the game lasts longer there's a third gold mine for each player but it's accessed through way gates and very close trough air to the opponent's base. Do your best to kill creeps for they can drop very interesting items that can make the difference between winning and losing. Be tricky by taken alternative boat routes and taking your enemy unprepared.

Features camera at a distance of 2150 which gives you a lot more vision over your base and makes moving troops around easier. Also if your computer is not very good it will probably make Warcraft work slower for it has to render more models at once and I make pretty intensive usage of doodads also (sry).

P.S.: If you hate it don't be afraid to say it, I did the map mostly for the fun of doing it.

P.S.2.: For those of you who wish to edit it you must edit using some sort of patch to disable doodad limits for I exceed the maximum number of doodads.

    Change map type to altered melee. Here's a list of BB Codes to improve the looks of that description, currently looks like a wall of text.

    Uhhhmmm... I'm not so sure if it fits into altered Melee since the only changes are the far camera and the gold chest and bundle of lumber items that where demoted.
    The regular game units remain unchanged.

    Thanks for the suggestion of the BB Codes, I just forgot to use them while writing the description :p

    It's interesting to play, a bit hard with night elfs( you should make some more free area). The base doors could be less choky, it make realy hard to invade with bigger units like taurens and abominations, or even pit lord. An other good change would be an additional gold mine, in the center, to make things a bit more fun. Mine last sugestion is make more space to move troops, you have not much options if you wanna mek an suprise attack.

    Yeah.., you're right about the big units. I'll try to add some extra space and a way for the night elves to have more space to build.

    Looks more playalbe and some problems are now fixed. Is an interesting map to play as night elf, Huntress can easily grants you map vision, the same way as sentry wards for orcs. A lot of nice strategys can be played better in this map than in the most of the other maps. In the other hand, some common plays like flank are a bit harder(but in this case very effective).
    People might have a good time playing this map. I give it a 4/5 +Rep

    Hmmmm Map is not melee and still not good for altered melee!
    Can you please add some more custom created things!

    Add some systems, maybe quests and so on!

    Few changes are bad!

    Only changes to the default game behavior are some pathing maps for neutral buildings and the far camera, I really don't think this should be enough to consider it an altered melee, in fact it I defined it as Melee in the map type, and really, this is how I wanted the map to work, it is just a Melee map with a different camera to allow better control over your units.
    The map is supposed to be that way it is and if this does not match the moderators taste and for that reason it is reproved then I'll just leave it that way, I'll not change my map just because somebody thinks it should be different.
    Plus there are tons of poor quality altered melee maps out there and I don't want to join that statistic nor to spend hours working really hard on something I don't want to do.
    If you desire you can delete this tread and erase my map.
