How can I remove floating text from critical damage

You can't, it's hardcoded.
You can however use a Damage Detection System to multiply the damage.
There is also the demolish ability, which can do critical damage but without floating text, simply change targets allowed.

You might also be able to limit it to 1 text existing at any time by creating 99 floating texts, filling up all available floating text slots. However this is really scraping the bottom of the barrel for a solution with the ones above being much more practical lol.

Command Aura can be used if you want a flat damage buff but do not mind a buff icon and green bonus damage text in the unit info card.
