Crisis at the Sunwell v.1.1

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
This is a Hero Offense map, in which you choose a character and fight with your comrades through the dungeons and outdoor areas of the island of Quel'Danas.
------

A second Reign of Chaos threatens to engulf the reaches of Azeroth. The dark lord of the Burning Legion, Kil'jaeden, has sent his new thralls, the blood elves under Prince Kael'thas, to the isle of Quel'Danas. There, they prepare to transform the Sunwell into a gateway. A gateway that will unleash, quite literally, hell on earth. Should Kael succeed, Kil'jaeden will set foot on Azeroth, and the world will burn. Those heroes and villains who would rather see their world survive, have stepped forward to prevent the end of existence.

----

So yeah, this is basically my own take on the Burning Crusade's conclusion, in which the Shattered Sun banished Kil'jaeden back into the nether.

With these noticeable differences.

It's my vision of the damn thing. There are characters that were never there that you can choose from, as well as characters from fan written stories I've authored and from a friend's works as well, for the sake of diversity.
So yeah, you can play as Archmage Arugal, Lord Falconcrest, the Deathsworn Captain of Shadowfang Keep (Nigel de Mon), Relfthra, Luc Valonforth and many, many more characters.

I aimed for character diversity, so you can experiment with melee Intelligence heroes like Drek'thar or go for the healer/damage dealer hero combo like Tiras'alan, the Draenei general.

Anyway.

Credit goes to Hiveworkshop for its lovely selection of models.
This map took a long time to make, employs custom music from the event in question, and makes use of Blizzard's inbuilt AI so that you can play this in single player.

In other words, just make sure all slots are filled with computer slots. You just have to control where your fellow heroes move, but they'll cast spells on their own and watch your back. If you want, just select them and right click your main hero and you can set out on your own without having to worry. They'll follow you and take care of themselves.

Hope you enjoy this. Despite the huge filesize it is most fun in multiplayer.

Anu belore. Good luck against the forces of evil.
