WoW is the continued version of wc3.
to be VERY short, the lich king dies and after that deathwing is reborn and rises ragnaros. Thrall leaves as warchief and Garrosh Hellscream becomes the new warchief. The troll zandalari tribe and the gurubashi tribe tries to get their former power but fails. After that the alliance discover panaria a new continent in the south part of azzeroth.

I did not like the pandaria lore very much so I cant tell much from there. But you can look up anything about the lore here

just search for the lich king and you will find all the lore about him there

Actually no, just no. WoW lore... big No !

All we know after warcraft 3 is that Illidan died and the naga and blood elves were killed by the undead. Theramore and the horde became buddies and the lich king returned to lordaeron where he killed sylvanas.

It depends on people's choice, say most of us can't achieve playing Epic mmorpg games and has no budget to play fees every month and just want straight action and overview of the story line while some like it to be slow and a continues saga and will pay the price whatever reasons it may be.

because the good guys always won later :|

Childhood ruined, good guys die per map while bad guys look like good guys. I think the only goody-good story is Thrall and Rexxar base.

in WoW its obious that the good guys win. Since the good guys are the players. If you dont kill the boss (lets say deathwing) you wont get items, achievements and so on. Also since there is like 50000 raiding guild you cant lose because one guild fails -.-

and no one if the avaerage guild kill every single boss on the first try. and thats on normal mode.
you cant compare a online game with wc3.

Well Kil'Jaiden is a demon so basically you can kill him as many times as you wish and will just be revived in the Twisting Nether. The real war in the warcraft universe however is happening on Azeroth since that's where the old gods live and the old gods are essentially the creation of all the worlds evil such as the Lich King, Kil'Jaiden, Sargeras, The Burning Legion, Deathwing and so on and so on. And killing an old god is tricky since only their physical form can be destroyed.

The Old Gods Yogg-Saron, C'Thun and N'Zoth were originally believed to be the only old gods whos spirits had not perished but as we've seen in Pandaria the other Old Gods still have living spirits since the old god Y'shaarj still have remnants of him still lurking in Pandaria. And I'm not only speaking about the sha's but also the relic Garrosh found with a part of Y'Shaarj spirit still in it or as it's called the echo of Y'shaarj.

So the story of warcraft will never end even the lich kings story is ongoing even if Arthas might be dead.

Well he has a new host so he does have some powers otherwise he would not be able to control the scourge.

Yes he does have a host and here to back me up is Terenas Menethil.

As is said there must always be a Lich King or otherwise the scourge will forever more reek havoc upon the world.

Well not really, the lore is currently the only thing keeping WoW up for a lot of people including myself.

if u think wow lore is good u should never become a writer

i can point out a million flaws and things that make no sense easily

Do you think that I can't point out flaws? I can point out a lot of flaws but if you do not like anything that isn't perfect you will never like any thing since perfection is impossible to achieve.

WoW lore is shit because the story is all about "there is a bad guy attacking the good guys!". Why isn't there like "bad guys attacking bad guys". Wouldn't be cool if KJ attacked Arthas and Arthas needed the help of A and H to defeat KJ and the two factions would join in because it's better to have undead as enemies than KJ and then at the end of the expansion Arthas would betray the two factions and then you would go after Arthas but not before finding out that while the two factions were allied to the Scourge they set up/discovered some hidden tunnels so you can catch Arthas by surprise.

If you think wow lore is bad because a bad guy is attacking the good guys than pretty much every story throughout the history of time is a bad story.

No no no. I want to know lowe1994ba's opinion on this matter. Because according to him, in every war there is one good guy, and one bad guy. It's like a fairy tale or something. The evil armies of Mordor and all that...
