Textures? What? Those are models dude. Open the model editor, then the mpq browser then you can easily find them through the folders there.

Abilities\Spells\Other\Drain\DrainCaster.mdl
Abilities\Spells\Other\Drain\DrainTarget.mdl
Abilities\Spells\Other\Drain\ManaDrainCaster.mdl
Abilities\Spells\Other\Drain\ManaDrainTarget.mdl

you don't need to replace the old model with new one - you can make it separate model.
Just change its internal name to your own custom one and import it... delete any path in the WC3 import manager for that model, save and you should be able to find that model in the imported effects list when choosing effect models for spells/buffs.

What I did:

  • I imported the .mdx files below (I DID NOT CHANGE THE PATH OF THE FILES)
  • I imported the DrainManaLightning.blp below (Either change the path to ReplaceableTextures\Weather\DrainManaLightning.blp OR do not change it and use this method )
Thank you for your politeness I really appreciate it.
