Well, just add terrain up. Increase one, or increase two, depends how high is your terrain.
But when you increase terrain once, then do it again, so it will ,,increase above increase", or double increase like in this picture.

There is brush called Increase One.
Do it once in line. Then, ABOVE THAT INCREASED TERRAIN DO IT AGAIN.
So increase one above already increased basically can make this effect.
of course this is quickly told and explained, but based on it you can play around, set and fix yourself.
As you can see from one side of river (left forest) to right side of river (right forest) there are two ,,levels" of ground. I suppose that it can be either twice increasing terrain, or even twice decreasing terrain if starting heigh was high.
I cant explain you better now cause I do not have time to show you in screenshots. Sorry for that.
