<sigh>... you guys have no idea how hard it was to find this thread after so much time (1 month) of inactivity.... and then I remembered I saved this thread's link into a .txt file. Anyways, thanks to Hell_Master and his support, I was able to finish the terrain and put in my full-focus on the triggers and heroes and items. I won't release any screenshots though anytime soon, but probably by next week I'll start making some major updates. Also updated the first page, though to be honest, all that has been updated has been: the Updates Board, Removal of the Alpha map, and uh.... well that's it for now.

P.S. I'd like to thanks neo_sluf and Hell_Master for their support.

I see this is still alive. That news is sure interesting though if it doesnt hurt, can we maybe see a screenshot or video? It will look better if we are to see what this bossfight you are telling off but still nice job and I do think even with the long inactivity here, that is quite a good update to catch up!

Hey yo people!
I just recently got back to Warcraft since last time I became totally preoccupied with playing Grand Chase/Clash of Clans/Flappy Bird for the past few months (if u know those games, especially the last one).

I would though, as some form of apology, release an early version of the prologue-map I told you about, plus what I would like it to become as another separate map.

You also might be thinking of why I wouldn't use the 2nd map instead. Reason being is I made that one when I was a noob mapper and triggerer so it has a lot of uh, a lot of "unoptimized" stuff, which I would be fixing in the first map.

Warning: 2nd map might be a little laggy. But awesome.
 
Well it appears that I'll drive by and see what's this for:D You main problem seems to be the mixed type terrain on your thread. Remember never use HQ textures next to low quality ones. They look out of place. Otherwise good luck with this.
Edit: Also make some tile variation, and decide if you'll go with HQ tilesets or LQ tilesets.

I've also received comments regarding the mixing of HQ and LQ objects, and I really have decided on HQ. The problem is, I never have been able to find all the resources I need to complete the whole map on HQ-textures. I tried the resources section, but that didn't work. I also tried to find some HD-Packs from WC3.net, but that doesn't complete everything.

I'm just finishing up the, as writers say it, rough-draft of the whole story.

Played the CotE Bossfight map and I managed to beat the Firelord with Crusader and without cheats of course. That takes off the challenge. But there is a bug here, the cinematic between Ogrimm Doomhammer seems to not turn off and I guess it's in your cinematics. The map is still unknown if it'll be up for thesection knowing that I said that the cinematics bugged on Ogrimm Doomhammer.

For the Bossfight - Fire, the boss is quite hard to be honest, it would be best if you will make the charge before the spellcast much more slower to give time to the player to react to the boss' actions. In my own view, this boss fight seems hard. This map I do think is not up for the Maps Section seeing that the boss is too hard to beat, literally quite hard and it's hard to react on what will the boss do. It pressures you much in my view.

Okay I think I've found some sort of solution to the Bossfight - Fire map (I chose to fix that one as I can easily just add the same elements to the official map). If I add in some of my unreleased spells that I made for meh only, that would easily make the bossfight a little more manageable. Plus I'm thinking of periodic spawns of support unit like healers or archers that appear once in a while if things get out of hand.

Progress on the Main map: modifying the main hero. And going back to the icon-making business.
