Child turned hero?

I am trying to turn a child into a hero with abilities and can't quite figure it out. Does anybody know if this can be done? Any help is appreciated!!

You cannot turn non-hero unit into hero unit.
You can, however, create a new hero unit by copying an already existing hero. Then you modify the unit model of that new hero to that of a child.

Try to modify the 'Bear Shape' ability (NightElves) by change it's aim model to your hero.

And give this ability to your child.

In JNGP, you can copy-paste a unit and are then prompted to state the id for the new unit. Capitalize the first letter there. Wc3/editor marks heroes that way.

Ps: Also remove the child's parents, give him a rightful mentor and some side-kicks instead, a village to protect and an opposing evil force. Do not forget side quests, heroism needs to be rewarding again.
