- Description: Allows Fel Berserker to ride a Chaos Cart, thus forming a new unit with a siege attack against buildings and stronger against air. It is however weaker in combat.

Chaos Warmage Adept training

- Description: Allows Chaos Warmage to cast Soul Ward. Soul Ward summons a skeleton from a corpse eveytime a unit dies near it. Also and increases their attack, mana and mana regeneration.

Chaos Warmage Master traning
- Icon: Tome Book 2
- Description: Allows Chaos Warmage to cast Dark Stick. Dark Stick decreases enemy units max hp by 2% and slows their movement speed by 20% as well.Also and increases their attack, mana and mana regeneration.

Fel Seekerk Adept training
- Icon: Roar item 1
- Description: Allows Fel Seeker to cast Burn. Burn burns all enemies in the target AOE for 3 hp/sec and decreases their armor by -2. If a unit that is being burned dies, it will explode and the effect of Burn will go to all enemy units near it. It also dispells magical buffs.

Fel Seeker Master training
- Icon: Roar item 2
- Description: Allwos Fel Seeker to cast OnFire. OnFire gives allies units +3 damage, increases hp regeneration, a fireshield that damages enemy units by 7 hp/sec and a fire AOE attack as well.

Skeletal Unholy strenght
- Icon: Champion Orc skeleton
- Description: Upgrades the skeletons summoned by Soul Ward, making them stronger. Their life time does not change.
- Tier: 2​

Ward Longevity

- Description: Increases the life time of wards from the Chaos Warmage
- Tier: 3​

Devil's Speed

- Description: This ability gives the caster bonus movement speed according to the number of allied units that are Undead or Chaos Orc and that are near the caster. Each unit gives a 5% bonus to speed. The max speed bonus is 33% of the casters curent speed. When using this ability, the caster also become able to walk through units. When doing so, if the unit is enemy it will be slowed by 33% of the caster's current speed for 5 seconds. Lasts 30 seconds.

Battle Transe
- Icon: SelfMade
- Description: Allows the Fel Kodo beast to have an aura that increases allied units hp by 3% and attack speed by 5%.
- Tier: 2

Mindful Spear
- Icon: (need passive Icon)
- Description:: When the Rider damages a unit, it poisons the mind of the unit, making it lose 4 mana per second (it is like poison ability but with mana. The chaos orcs like dispelling and anti-caster abilies, so this is a good one). If a caster with Midful spear casts a spell, he also loses adition 5% of his mana. When targeted on Summoned units, it poisons thier sould making them take 33% extra damage from all sources. Lasts 30 seconds.
- Tier: none, comes with the unit​

Fire Forge

- Icon: not decided yet
- Description: Allows Chaos Orc towers to be surrounded with fire. If an enemy unit gets to close to the tower, it will start burning, losing 7 hp/sec.
- Tier: 2


Burning Arrows

- Icon: Priestess of the Moon Fire Arrows
- Description: Allows Chaos Orc towers to fire burning arrows, causing targets to burn for 10 seconds, losing 7 hp/sec.
- Tier: 2


Fel Fury

- Icon: Need one
- Description: Gives the dragon a chance to set a unit on fire when he attacks one. The chances of doing such an attack are 1% per each 2% of hp missing. A unit on fire will lose 10 hp/sec.
- Tier: 3

Hell Gates

- Icon: Portal
- Description: Opens a Gate between the Spirit's position and the nearest Possession Core with Hell Gates upgrade ability made. The Gate takes 10 seconds to summon. If during the summoning the spirit or the gate die, the spell is canceled. Once the Gate os opened it will last for 20 seconds and it will allow allies to travel instantly from one end point to the other. Once the gate is opened the Spirit is sacrificed to mantain the Gate.

A lot of stuff. Perhaps too much? Well you should organize your text a little better. Use for example hidden tags and different font sizes. Anyways... You are still doing your project which is a good thing. I wish you luck once again and your game seems to improve after every version. An excellent mark of a quality map. Reputation added.

Thanks for your constructive comment, in deed I think I will do what you suggest.

As for the ability ... it is not done yet (I am going to add it for Beta 2.0b) but I know how to do it. However the Ability is in vJass ... I am afraid your GUI campaign will not support it =S

I will be sure to send you a PM once I finish that ability.

I am also happy to see you are now in 3a. Too bad you will soon end the project =S

Dragon Ability (guess it all based on original warcraft histroy):
Gift of Alextrasza - the dragon unleashes a great wave of pure life energy, filling all friendly units caught in the area of effect with great strength (+ 15% damage). However, Chaos Orcs and Undead also take 50 damage per second, due to their unholy origins. Lasts 10 seconds. (channeled perhaps?)

i think it will fit with your 'less hp, more dmg' style of chaos orcs


Corrupted Spirit Wyvern ability:
Redemption - the spirit wyvern unleashes the fel energies coursing through its 'body', dealing XXX damage to all nearby units; the spirit wyvern becomes non-corrupted and is healed to full health. however, the flow of energy drives the creature insane, making it hostile to anyone.

kinda camicadze ability, good for stealth operations

Fel Seeker -> Chaos Ascendant/Chaos Aspirant

Bloody Aura - increases the chance to enter Chaotic Rage by 30%. each time a unit affected bu the aura deals Chaos damage, he is healed for (Y-unit's max hp).
y ~ 500-1000
kinda supposed to be a good defensive aura + makes peons a formidable defensive force

I suppose this could be some sort of independent upgrade for buildings, like the Nerubian tower from the undead or Cold Tower. I think this would fit for a real nice Tower Ability, since it would finally add a decent defensive structure to the race.

The race has a ranged attacker, the Fel Berseker. It's projectile is kinda sucky, but I intend to change that xD

So, in a 1v1 game, this would most likely get you killed xD I don't think such an ability would be a good idea, besides all ultimate units have a passive ability =P
You are correct in one thing though -> I want the Chaos Orcs to be a "less hp + damage" race, however the dragon the control is also meant to be evil, not pure =S

Goo idea, however having in mind this unit is also invisible I think that it would be a little unbalanced to have an army of invisible wyvern exploding and killing enemies ... I mean, enemy players would get really frustrated and angry, they would simply die for no reason.
Besides I am not sure if Neutral Hostile invisible unit attack ...
Maybe I should make the Wyvern visible and give it a melee attack?

Orcs have Kamikaze units (bat) and Undeads have stealth units (ghosts) so this is really the perfect middle term I need to find.

Increasing the Chaotic Rage, although an excellent idea, would only affect a small portion of the Chaos forces. My problem here is that I need something that provides a bonus to the Chaos Orcs (and Ud maybe) in a special way and that fits the tactic of the race good.
Making peons a good defensive force would make the Chaos Burrows useless... I am trying to avoid that so far xD

wyvern's damage should be not too high, maybe with 'liquid fire'-ish component, to make it good for disrupting enemy forces. maybe even reduce the damage even more and add some cursing/slowing/weakening component.

neutral hostile wyvern should be visible, non-corrupted and with attack


ok, maybe this:
Bloody Aura - focuses the fel energy coursing through the blood of corrupted friendly units, giving thrm a 5% chance to avoid fatal damage. when a unit avoids fatal damage, he automatically enters Chaotic Rage

Bloody Aura - All chaos orc buildings eminate their ancient demonic orgins, giving them increased attack damage and faster movemnt. Increases their bloodlust until they leave the area of which the aura is from.

Basicly, adds bloodlust (like the shamans) until they leave the area around the buildings. It could aslo maybe effect other races aswell. I think this would be great for a race thats pretty much war, as it adds to the lore in a way.

This looks like a perfect spell for a Tank hero. If you see CHims, Gryphons, frosts or Taurens, you see they all have some sort of special attack mmmm I am looking something similar for a dragon but it seems too hard ...

Let me see if I understand, a spirit Wyvern is invisible, flying and can see invisible units. Using a Kamikaze ability, he does a weird effect to all units near him, gets full hp, and then he goes hostile. Having in mind we are talking about spirit I don't think Fire is an answer, I think that Ethereal is... I fear this can be unbalanced... I mean, not even wisps nor ultimate spells from heroes can attack a player in such an unpredictable and fearsome way...

Your problem is that you are always using Chaotic Rage, which can only affect 3 units of the race. I need something more general, perhaps another crazy ability that can be applied to most units and with special effect to CO and UD.

Fiery Soul: Whenever a chaos orc unit takes damage, it has a X% chance to enter a Burning Rage, increasing all damage dealt and taken by Y%.

Spreading Fire: Whenever a chaos orc unit gets whithin 50 of a unit in a state of Buring Rage, that unit enter burning rage too.

Fuel for the Fire: Instead of taking Y% more damage, all units in Burning Rage loses 1% of their max hp each second. This damage is added to mana.

suggestion for the wyvern: its invisible, ethereal, all that shit. it cant attack. then you can make it go berserk, becoming hostile to everybody and able to attack. simple as that.


upgrade:
Channel Corruption: fel seekers can channel their inner corruption to a berserk wyvern, taking control of it again. this costs then 50% of their max life and 50% of their max mana.

ok, different set of abilities:

Wyvern:
Chaotic Funnel - sacrifices the wyvern, using its spirit energy to create a temporary rift in the reality.
Generally it gives the nearest Corruption Core a waygate ability, with the exit regian being right under the wyvern. the wyvern in shape of Chaotic Funnel is invulnerbale, but the whole effect lasts only 10-15 seconds. only one Chaotic Funnel may exist at any given time. and of course it kill the wyvern after it expires.

dragon:
Fel Fury - increases dragon's attack damage by ((% of hp missing)/2)%. same percentage of damage also goes spalsh and dragon has ame percednt chance to deal 1.5 damage on attack.
i fear this one is too hero-ish too =)

aura:
Bloody Aura - gives a 10% chance to avoid fatal damage - simple as that, and without chaotic rage component =)) though the percent may be too high

I know, I could make the "berserk" thing be a tier 3 upgrade. That would balance things I guess.

I still don't get what you mean when you say "Enter Chaotic Rage". You see, Chaotic Rage is some sort of improved and balanced critical strike, it gives the user a chance to deal more damage on attacks. My brain just interprets this as "A unit enter Critical Strike"... how I am supposed to make a unit enter critical strike? lol...

In deed, this would be a better idea for a unit which main purpose is to be a scout. However, having in mind the unit is invisible, wouldn't it be too unbalanced? I mean, you could simply carry one of those units to the back of a base, and then rape it totally mmmm without even giving a chance to the player of defending himself. Humans can do this sort of tricks, but it takes an invisible unit and a level 6 archmage to do it.

Fel Fury - increases dragon's attack damage by ((% of hp missing)/2)%. same percentage of damage also goes spalsh and dragon has ame percednt chance to deal 1.5 damage on attack.
I think this mix would be nice: Gives the dragon a chance to set a unit on fire when he attack one. The chances of doing such an attack are 1% per each 2% of hp missing.
What do you think?
Bloody Aura - gives a 10% chance to avoid fatal damage - simple as that, and without chaotic rage component =)) though the percent may be too high
I think this is too defensive for a race that is offensive born mmmm

I think I made need an "equivalent" idea for Chaotic Rage. With such an idea, I could make the buildings aura really nice.

then maybe put a limit to the amount of units that can pass through Chaos Funnel? then it will be more of a diversion tool, than attacking

I was thinking -> to open the gate it takes like 10 seconds. Although the wyvern is still invisible, the Gate is not. If during the summing of the Gate, the Wyvern or the Gate die, they both die and the spell stops.
Also, this would be a tier 3 ability and to be used, you would have to upgrade the Building as well, so it does support portals. (you make 2 upgrades, one upgrade allows your units to use the spell, the other allows the buildings to have a portal entrance or exit.)
By curiosity, what happens if there are no buildings that can support portals? Should I simply stop the spell with a nice error message, or should I do something else?

Yes. Did you played the UD campaign where Undead try to steal a scared book and kill 3 mages that have a protective aura? It will be something like that.
You could still add spreading fire. and maybe an equivalent ability for fel seekers.
Fell Seekers already have an ability (offensive) for that effect.

what 'bout smth like Thorns aura for buildings? not too original, but meh =))

EDIT: the damage of tharons may scale with amount of building's hp lost - less hp, more dmg

i did play UD campaign =P
maybe same but with mana burn? smth like this:
Bloody Aura - burns 2 points of mana per second, dealing 1 point of damage per point of mana burned. If target has no mana, it still takes 1 point of damage per second. Also, every time an enemy unit is healed, he gets damaged for 100 damage.

i know it is situational, but i can't think of anything more original than that atm.
 
MMm Trillium you are making me considerate my options ... You see, the "Aura" ability idea will also be used in my other Race, the HIgh Elfs. The HE are a defensive race (contrast with CO) and so I would like to have 2 opponent auras. My main idea would be:
- HE damage enemy
- CO gives bonus to allies ...

But I don't know ... what is more "offensive" ?? An aura that helps your units, or an aura that kills your enemies?

well, maybe make the HE aura smth like
Blah-blah Aura - puts a curse (i know it doesnt suit HE, but cant think of a better word atm) dealing 50-100 damage over 10 seconds to all enemies within the aura's range and reducing their movement and attack speed to 50%. ticks every 10 seconds.

and if you want a buff-type aura for CO, then maybe this:
Bloody Aura - each 10-15 seconds refreshes all CDs of all allies within aura's range (and disples all harmful magical effects from them). Also grants them a 5-second buff, causing them to deal Chaos damage with their normal attacks.

the part in italic is optional =)))
 
Ok, to celebrate the release of CCFE Beta 2.0b I upgraded the description of the race. I also added new section, credits to honour those who helped me from the start.

I also have new requests =P

About the aura, I still need ideas. For me it is not about the icon nor the description is about finding a good ability to fit the race's overall strategy...

I was thinking of: Gives units a chance to deal an attack with splash damage depending on their hp BUT ... I think that is a crappy modification of Chaotic Rage ... Any suggestions?

For those you check the Devils Speed ability in the techtree ... I can say version 2.c will have it. Kodo updates will also enter the stack and I may add the flying unit (but without abilities).

Bloody Aura №5*103,5 - whenever a unit affected by Bloody Aura dies, all other units affected by Bloody Aura get healed by 10% of dead unit's total hp. (Friendly targets only ofc)

will work as a perfect defensive ability for a race focused on low hp. during an attack on a base, a chaos orc will surely die now and then, prolonging the lives of his allies. in grave situation, when most defenders die, the will still remain a small force with alot of hp.
tha aura may or may not count in dying enemy units as well. that's a question of balancing imho.

to keep the chaos orc style, the healing may not be applied to targets with 50% or more hp.

Perhaps an option for combining splash damage and the on-death effect would be something like:

Bloody Aura: Friendly units that die under the effects of Bloody Aura burst, dealing X% of their maximum health as damage within Y Range, and reducing nearby enemies armor by Z for S seconds.

(Ran out of easy variables <.<) Anyways, I'm not sure how much you are playing with the idea that Chaos Orc blood is seriously messed up, but I could see this being a possible way to prove the point.
WARNING: Chaos Orc blood is volatile, and may cause gory explosions of contaminated organisms. May also stain/corrode clothes.

Also, that website you linked to has some great thoughts about the race. Thanks for sharing it with me.
 
lol. I have a very different idea of the Chaos Orcs. Many people link them with Sacrifice, I personally link them with Fire and Rage, and I think that has a huge reflection on the way I make my techtree.
My problem with this aura is that I want something that is permanent, that can affect all units and not depending on a certain event. Such an idea is quite hard to find for me ...

Anyway, CCFE 2.0c is now released, please check the update and enjoy the changes ! =D
