[General] Changing Hero Model without changing unit

Is it possible to change a hero model without changing the unit itself? (I think there are some natives that have something to do with skins)

Set unit skin

The set unit skin action wants an integer, but the preset parameter is a string. How exactly to use this action? Or is there a better way to change unit's skins dynamicaly ingame?

How can I change skins with triggers?

The "Set Unit Skin" action defaults to "Hamg" (which is the Archmage). However, I can't see a way to change that to pick a different unit type's skin. The only value it lets me enter is a number, and all the unit codes start with a letter. I suppose I could make a custom unit with only...
