Ok, I have collected some possible solutions:
• Tools>Options>Connection Settings and selected 'Auto-dectect proxy settings for this network'
• Visit a website that gives you a custom proxy, e.g. http://www.myproxy.ca/
• Delete cookies and retype password and e-mail.
• Add an "s" on "http" = "https".
• Make sure you don't type in Caps Lock.

It most likely is a problem of your current explorer settings, not the account itself.

I use Firefox.
I'll try too delete the past history and try Internet Explorer.
