Map Overview
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Cannon Defense is a 6 player map created by Bob27. The object of the game is to survive 20 waves of enemies, who will try and get past you. Each player will control their own Cannon, which they can use to shoot at the approaching enemies, and try and kill them before they reach the edge of the map. Once they reach the edge of the map you will loose one life, and then when you have no lives left you loose the game.

In Cannon Defense you each control a Cannon, which you can use to attack enemies. You attack by simply right clicking where you want to shoot, and the Cannon will shoot there. Once all attacking enemies have been killed the level will finish, each play will be giving some gold as a reward for finishing the level and the countdown to the next level will begin. At the start of the map you will start of with 20 lives, and then whenever an enemy makes it past your Cannons you will loose a life. However you can buy lives (See Upgrades and Abilities).

As well as being able to shoot enemies with your Cannons you can use a number of abilities and upgrades to use against the enemies to damage them, slow them down or increase the power of your cannon. These are listed in the Abilities and Upgrades section.

During each game, there will be a number of random events that will happen, these will be the same each time, and will happen once everytime you play the map, however it will happen on a random level, and you will have no idea when one of these events will happen. These events will make it harder for you, the player to be able to kill all enemies. This could be because of things like limited visibility, or something else.

    Although it does, to a degree, do that, it could've been done a lot better than it is. For example, as opposed to the mindless click fest that it is at the moment, it could be more tactical; you could add a maze for the units to follow, more uses of the 'effect' system or even better placement of the cannons.

    On top of that, there is the money system. This is somewhat unused; there are a few abilities that you can buy however, these are all pretty much bought by the first 1-4 waves. This means that you focus on buying lives and, in all honesty, become unbeatable.

    The game itself isn't really that fun as it stands; you mindlessly click and aim the flame storm and cannons hoping that all units will die. Sure enough, this is going to get approved, but with -- a lot, I should say -- more work, better organization and better use of features, this could be a more enjoyable and, undoubtedly, get a higher mark.

    Err please fix your quest log coz the logs are cut off halfway.

    And why can't we move our screen? is it a bug or is it supposed to be that way?

    Ok I will have the quest logs fixed in the next version, and as for the camera your not suppose to be able to move it, except for rotating it with the Left and Right arrow keys, and even that you can only rotate it 45 degrees in each direction.

    I hosted the map on battlenet and had full players playing.
    I can say it was pretty fun, but there are problems.

    By the people who played :
    - Accidentally changed camera (with mouse scroll or other) and cannot take it back to normal
    - Too easy levels overall, too hard final boss for few players (make it adjustable to the number of players currently playing)
    - Few waves, but its a minor problem
    - Too few upgrades for the cannons.

    Although this is just a new map, it will be much better with few touch ups from the above, plus if you could add a Mode selector thingy, so you can choose between Easy - Normal - Hard. That would be great.

    Very nice game.

    I tested it out, and have to agree with a lot of the points. Difficulty settings should automatically determine per player.

    You need more abilites. I would reccomend purchasing them through a spell book.

    More descriptions of the waves, and perhaps some uniquie abilities depending on the type of unit.

    This map has good work put into it, it just needs some more features.
