It doesn't support multiplayer, since most of the new stuff will cause desyncs.

Maybe. So far it hasn't been tested in LAN (and we aren't too interested in making work in there if it doesn't already, at least not for the time being) so we don't really know. Some things probably work while others can cause a desync.
