Bonus speed per agi point, is it real or percent?

Hero Attributes - Bonus Speed per Agility point - Bonus movement speed per agility point.

Is this real or percent? Thanks!!

It is not a percent, its a "real" bonus. If you put "5.00" in the field you'll notice the unit's movement speed increases by 5 per agility point, rather than 500%.

I tested it out with tomes of agility +1. After picking one of them up, my movement speed went from 300 to 305. If it were percentage then it would either be 5% of 300 which would yield +15 movement speed, or 500% which would yield maximum movement speed.

How did you test movement speed? I'd kill for such a function in my map, or did you also have to import the jass script? Man jass scares me.

You can just do something like this:

• Game - Display to (All players) the text: (String((Current movement speed of (Triggering unit))))

That displays the movement speed. He probably just ran a periodic timer to display the unit's movement speed and began picking up tomes (or something like that). But anyway, the "Current Movement Speed of (Triggering Unit)" is the function to detect the unit's current movement speed. (It is a real value, not integer)

Ah whats diff between real and interger? Is it the same difference as they thought us in grade school math or..?

Basically, an integer (in WE) doesn't have decimal numbers.

Ex: 2 is an integer.
2.324 is a real.

Indeed. In fact that is exactly what I did, to the "T".

Actually it will, I believe. If you have the value as 0.1 then your movement speed will go up by 1 every 10 agility.

the values in the Gameplay Constants are mostly reals and I'm sure The speed bonus is a real number and I tried it already, a bonus of .2...

BTW, even in real life integers doesnt have decimals right,
integers = whole numbers...
