I had my own share of fun, I don't really know about SoJ and yours tho. (And I have always wanted SoJ's terraining skills as my assets! ;'( Please don't let it go to waste..!)

Learned a lot about fade filters, and that's worth it.

The problem is that nobody (AFAIK) actually got a clear picture of the plot and what nambo wanted to do. The project could be continued, however I'm 99% sure that it will deviate from nambo's original visions for the map and most likely that it will become a new and totally different map... :/

EDIT: I have the latest (I think) map and I could give it to the user who seems to be responsible and could finish it. Of course if nambo is fine with it. :/

Let's wait a month or do before doing anything rash. We can't just distribute the map willie nellie (Is this right? The phrase? xD) without his permission.

We can decide what to do after we know that nambo really isn't coming back.

Though I doubt anyone would take the project because self-made projects are just better since you actually know what is happening and what will happen in the map.

Well, the ideas have been written down in google documents. I have all versions of them, so if someone wants I can share and the project will keep going.
