you mean that even if i ask they won't make me? they will make me if they want only?

Pretty much

If you really want the "satisfaction" of basically painting a target on yourself, you'd better be good at making maps, skins, icons or models, because they're the easiest positions to get moderator-ship in. If we have an opening and you're good at them, you may be chosen

If, on the other hand, you ask, without any prior experiance, we're just going to collectively laugh at you

I'd hate to be negative, but do you really want to become a moderator already?
It's a job and no offense you just joined this year , a low count of posts , and one rep.
Not that you i think time here counts that heavily. But you haven't really done anything yet. Don't let me discourage you though.

he likes power.

Try to be careful with this comment usually these type of comments lead to a fight.

And I'm, going to be honest buddy very few people a year get picked to be a moderator and the ones that do are just to fill in for the ones that get fed-up with it and leave. I suggest just being a good member for now, but if you really would like to become a moderator I'd suggest as Mecheon said find a field your good at and be a good well rounded member and stick to it.

Basicly, yes.

sometimes ralle would post a "moderator wanted" thread but being a moderator takes alot of dedication and hard work, and usually a specialist skill in a certain area.

Pretty much

These posts especially, as well as the others in this topic, have explained it quite well. I'm not sure anything more needs to be said. Thank you for being eager to help though.
