Avatars

I was wondering if animated avatars are allowed? I searched, but couldn't find anything regarding this.

Animated Avatars should be fine, as long as it isn't to annoying.

Ah, ok. The avatar I got now should be animated but for some reason it isn't when I uploaded it. :S It's original size is 125x125pix but that should change automatically when uploaded?

Well you mustn't be able to upload animated avatars then. My surgestion would be to try uploading it some where else, and then using the Off Site Avatar option, and just linking to it.

Are you sure it is the right file type? Mine works without a problem.

Animated gifs usually fail to animate when resized, unless it is done with the right software. Unfortunately, the internet is not "the right software".

Good point Teh_Ephy. I was thinking it was that that screwed it up.

And yes, PurgeandFire111, it's a .gif.

I've resized the animated .gif file with Abode ImageReady but I can't seem to save the file as .gif, only .psd. Anyone happen to know how I can convert the .psd to .gif or just save the file as a .gif file without having to convert?
