This is the problem. This is how most people see the auction house. Open your eyes....The Auction house is EXACTLY THE SAME as a third party site from Diablo 2. The only difference is Blizzard supported the idea in Diablo 3.
That and that it is 100% safe as Blizzard will not hack your account or scam you.
The new director is starting to bring back Diablo.
Only if all trade is removed. Otherwise scamming, botting and hacking will run even more rampant that now.
My luck is bloody shit. I never found a HR in Diablo II. How on earth will I get anything good in Diablo III without an AH to trade the junk I do not need for items I do. I will constantly get 1337 gear for some other builds except the damn build I want.
If people start to trade via third party sites there is no way I can compete with a decent class. I will have to stick to very low MP, lower than I currently do due to nothing good ever dropping
that I need. However these cheaters would be paying for the best end gear and would be flooding the trade markets making everything good only purchasable via real money on third party sites or for the odd over priced item that some one else does find who has no idea of its value that they then proceed to flog for a profit.
In short...
No trade = No botters, no account hacking, no gold spammers, completely fair.
Trade but no AH = Huge number of botters, even more account hackings, much much more gold spammers, completely unfair for people who just want to play the game they brought instead of play the third party sites that support the game.
Thus the only logical solution is to account bind all max level legendary and rare items as they are the best gear. No one cares about serious trade with "second best" gear or gold if it cannot buy you the end game they want. All third party sites will also pull away as they cannot trade anything for money so there will be no bots and no hackings.
