I was woundering what other modeling programs I should have to properly upload modles to alter them to be usable for games. I currently have Milkshape, but I cannot figure out how to upload wc3 game modles to it.

look/google for a program called "Biturn", it converts almost any model file format, it supports (not completely) mdx and mdls.
