Is it too low mark for the icon? Generally i'm not going to edit it, cause i see it perfect with small explosion. I don't understand, why the icon would be better with bigger explo.

I think he misunderstands what it's even supposed to be. Some people see an explosion, and assume it's supposed to be a huge bomb, but this is from a cannon, not a jet dropping bombs around the place. I think it looks fine as is.

Disagree with moderator.

That is not a good path. Whether a moderator is right or wrong, you'll only get yourself quickly negrepped, and maybe rejected. If not by the same moderator, than by a different one.

Sometimes moderators might rate something a little higher or lower than it deserves, but they're never off by more than one thumb, and the only thing that really matters is that they approve what needs to be approved, and reject what needs to be rejected, so as to keep the resource sections clean.

But if you disagree with a moderator, either don't say anything, or only say it once, preferably in a PM to the moderator, but don't post about it twice. This may cause a moderator to not like you, and while most of them will not purposely abuse power over a grudge, it may still unconsciously affect judgement, so that something that is borderline will be decided below the border rather than above.

Just continue making resources and being nice, once you've built a reputation you will find that your resources start getting the ratings they deserve. It's not on purpose, but if a guy on the road sings something good, people won't really care, and if somebody famous sings something with average talent, people will actually believe that it is very good.

Lol what?!?. If that's the way moderators think, they should all get demoted right away. Good resources are good resources even if they are made by new comers. Also, we have proof that this isn't the case in this thread. This icon got 6 5/5 (if that isn't icon popularity and public approval, i don't know what it is) but yet, the moderator gave a 3/5.
