Animated Marine by jk2pach

An other Marine unarmed.
I know the design is not very original (Blizzard base), but I have tried to add some animations.

No animation tag: classic use of the Marine, with a long weapon (rifle, shootgun, machinegun). He stands up.
Alternate animation tags: the positions of the Marine are made to use a small weapon (hand gun, little submachinegun).
Defend animation tags: the Marine crawls. Can work with or without Alternate tag.

Morph (all tags): switch between a long weapon and a small weapon.
Spell First (all tags): reload the weapon.
Spell Throw (all tags): Throw a projectile, like a grenade.
Spell Third (normal tag and Alternate tag): back flip.
Spell Second : Use the secondary function of a long weapon.
Spell Fourth : run and dive. Usefull for a forward jump spell.
Spell Slam: Use the weapon has a pivot, and make a circular kick.
Spell Slam Alternate: Use the hands to stun the target.

Other animations are classic and work for all tags.

This model recquired no credits, because I simply have fun with Mdlvis ;)

-Fixed Weapon attachment.

-All Morph Animations lenght increased and a bit modified.
-Spell First Defend and Spell First Defend Alternate fixed
-Extents recalculated.


08 Otc 2009:
Fixed a blank geoset animation which made the model corrupted.

Such an usefull model, but I could make a better screenshot for ya, if ya want. :psmile:

I've been waiting for this for long! Thank you!
But it would be great if you added a melee attack, for he can slay zombies with his fists or a pipe or something.
Also I found out you can't select a unit using this model with a single click. You have to drag select. Don't know what's that related with... Fix that please!
Otherwise a really great job!!
 
Okay I just restarted editor now it works.
No idea what went wrong... Just forget about it!^^

EDIT:
I tested it again, now I got it:
Normal animation works, you can select it normally
'Alternate'-animations are only selectable by dragging
Same on 'Defend'-animations

But actually Bloody-Turds already explained the solution
Hope my bug report helped...

that would be nice xD

but the main thing is to fix the weapon point

coz when i add flame thrower its bad

and when i add it to heavy marine than its good

hmm
or maybe just if someone can explain how to put model on (0,0,0) ?

That would be useful too for me -.-
 
all in all a VERY usefull model, but the kick animation is a bit to slow for a kick. but i still would give it a 10/10. i was always looking for a marine without a rifle so that i can add him various other weapons :P can i have ur permission 2 edit him plz? I WILL MENTION THAT THE BASE FILE WAS MADE BY YOU OFC!

there are many weapon attachments made especialy for this model, just type 'guns' on the filtered search and they should come up ^^
 
your animated marine is to awesome i use your marine and i attach m4 by epsilon too awesome its work but the konstrukt models by talon the mage not work -_-
 
konstrukt marines its works only konstrukt attachment and i played your map i like a firebat :P
