An error message??

hi, wen i open big maps in we or plays some maps i get this message

What is this? how do i get this problem out of the way?
Shuld i re install wc3?
The memory i got is no problem.. have had this amount of memory along time without any problems...

Its a protected map. people use it so they cant hack their maps so when u open it that pops up and crashes WE.

Do you have the latest warcraft 3 patch? Do you have TFT? It's also possible the map was protected, though you should be able to play in wc3 then;..

I cant update the wc3.. verry weird..i dont know why but it shuld work. its a leagal edition 2=(

OK this error could be caused by one in a million different things in the map itself. From a strange freak problem, to an easily explainable one, it could be anything in the map. The fact the map is protected would only cause a crash to the map editor if you were trying to open it. It looks like in this case you were trying to play it.

Most likely it is one of those protected maps.

Where a person believes they have created something worth stealing so they upset the commands or remove something or put in false data so the Editor can not open the map.

On occasion you can get the same error message if the map was map with say WE Unlimited - then its a matter of advanced triggers frelling the works. Most often the message is slightly different, saying that the editor can not located XXX command or functions.

gaah! its NOT a protected map! ty for trying to help me... i get so darn frustrated wen i want to check if some new things in my map will work... and ty fro explaining the cause... hmm. will no throw my pc out of the window and buy an other one from that strange guy...=))
