Maybe put an albatross doodad flying over the fishing spot.
That would be a Good idea.
As for the predators, even in EE they give meat. You could make them like boars and elephants that don't start out neutral or maybe drop meat only if killed by a worker
this is not the point of the map. Any ressources have to be gain by workers with no direct contribution from soldiers.
What's the blocked-off area for?
