[Crash] Adding Upgrade Research Available For Building Crash Editor

Hi guys.

I have done my research and come across two similar (not identical to my issue) posts, but neither seem to provide me with an acceptable means of circumventing this issue.
[Crash] - Add Upgrade Crash
upgrade crash

Essentially, whenever i try to add a custom upgrade from the nightelf section, just clicking the night elf section crashes my editor. When i click the orc or human or undead it acts normally.

Was just wondering if anyone had a solution to this.

Edit: I was looking back at one of the similar threads that was posted, and followed the advice to just delete all the imported files i had imported in my previous session. It now does allow me to click on the night elf tree for custom upgrades when trying to add research available to a building, so i will try to identify the file.

Edit: It seems the file that was causing the error is this:
I am not sure if it was because i was using its passive icon or not, i am not going to look into the issue because it just crashes my editor, there is nothing more to it.
For future people who have this issue, try to identify any custom icons (or other imports) that you have recently imported, and try to identify which one is causing the issue.

It makes sense that if it was from an imported file it would be an icon. It's the only imported file related to upgrades.
The warcraft 3 blp format can sometimes cause problems. If I remeber correctly something changed with blp files, so older ones that worked previously may no longer work. Dr. Super Good knows best about .blp files.
You can try to manually convert the icon from blp to png and then back to blp using a good converter.
I would try this tool, he states that the resulting blp file should always work in wc3: Imperial BLP
