Whenever I try to add an upgrade to a unit, World Editor keeps crashing!
Is there any possible reason why this might be occurring?

How are you adding the upgrade to the unit? Through the object editor?
How many upgrades do you have?
Try deleting the upgrade, and then recreating it.

Yeah, I'm trying to add an upgrade to a unit (doesn't matter which one, I've tried several) through the Object Editor.
When I use "Techtree - Upgrades Used" then "Add Upgrade", World Editor crashes. It doesn't seem to happen in other maps, only the one I've been working on. Any ideas?
