Taking both skill options is still a thing as well. I accidentally ended up with soul strike and heal on my monk last night.

Time: Dunno, probably around 30min. This was the only time anyone went near Sarash/Gar'tok.

Crash
Almost at the end of the replay, S0ulseeker gets a critical error.

Deathveiled minions can be targetted by enemies. Comes into play against bosses with random-focus single-target skills. Gargoyle can get stuck when trying to use Dive and Yeti will completely waste a Battering Ram.

I was coding on some improvements on the buff monitor yesterday and noticed something that might have been causing the permanent buff thing.

Fingers crossed I can isolate this. If not; I am at least experimenting with my own personal debug log dump:


People will be able to activate a debug mode in the game, which will track all buff data and log them in a seperate .txt file in your normal save folder. You can then just send the log file over to me and I can analyze why a buff was applied permanently.

Some of the level 8 wolves apply a really strong version of gaping wounds. Sitting here on my Bishop, it usually should tick for 3 damage, but sometimes it'll tick for 13, or 17, or even up to 47. Some newbies have been easily killed by this xD.

I've been hit with Gaping Wounds for 67 damage before from the level 8 wolf, and the orc in the arena once hit me with Wounds for over 200 per tick (maybe 1000 total damage?)

That happened in 14 though

Nice find! I checked the spell again and noticed I put the wrong variable in the damage calculus. It always takes the AP of whoever last casted a physical ability, not the AP of the caster. I fixed that now.

This bug must have existed for years. I wonder why nobody noticed.

I could finally isolate and fix a serious bug with Deathfire Veil (and possibly also other abilities), that caused the buff system to go completely apeshit-crazy.

In retrospective, it was something that I should have seen coming, but somehow didn't see when I coded that.


Maybe that fixes the random crit errors too. At least this bug was causing serious havoc in the internal data structure whenever it occured, so it could be very possible that it was also causing the crashes.

My Bugs

Hardened Dagger does not give its intended +15 attackspeed. Odd, im sure it did in the past.

Assassin Into the Shadows

We fought against Gargoyle and an Assassin was last man and he used his Into the Shadows, the gargoyle reseted but he got invulnerable for the whole time. You couldnt attack him or use the hammer again.

Interesting. Can you reproduce that? Unfortunately, the gargoyle is kind of buggy in many regards due to his form change... and it's super hard to squish all the bugs related to that.

Tbh, I never liked the design of the gargoyle encounter anyway and I certainly won't do these things in future encounters again; it was super annoying and just adds more problems than it solves. There are other ways to make encounters interesting, imho.

I think the trigger was the Assassin spell Into the Shadows for that bug. After the guy used it to survive, the gargoyle went back to his position, has been invulnerable and didnt attacked us if we stand near him.

Thats a really old bug with Gargoyle, I had honestly thought it had been reported before. Sometimes Gargoyle returning to its spawn point just simply causes it to stay invulnerable forever. I don't think its specific to the Assassin spell.

Gargoyle bug

i got a replay with gargoyle bug happening
its happening towards the end dont have exact time

i think in the same game there is a bug where psion trys to take emergency and get remedy

Couldn't watch the replay. Did you use physical damaging abilities to test that?

I used Imbue Armor, Dancing Blade, Bursting Strike and Bladestorm, wich are all Physical abilities.

Instill Momentum

While Channeling Instill Momentum you can start channeling it again resulting in having 2 "charges" for Release Momentum that can be activated successively

It's not a bug then. Distracting Weapon is supposed to work on all damage events, not just auto attacks.

Nice catch on Instill Momentum, though.

Couple minor ones.
Cooldown of Crucify says it's still 30 sec (even if it's 25). Seems like talent for 25% reduction is working as intended.
It looks to me like attachment model for Fist of Zartos is broken. It displays sometimes on random, sometimes when you proc attacks and sometimes it stays permanently when you die.

Ensalve Garrol, Deathfire Veil kill Minions,+

during escort to lumberjack camp quest a psion can ensalve garol. after that the ensaved garol will turn invulnerable (sceernshot).

when useing deathfireveil you cannot! kill your skeletons with the kill minions command (replay).

"ogre bosses" seem to be unable to drop souls.

Found an interesting bug with berzerker and d3. If you use Lightning Blade in the middle of the bridge while the waves to defend Gaspode are ongoing You start circling around the whole bridge model and you can end up on the other side of the bridge if you issue a move command at the right time.That way you can bypass d3 waves completely.Can be used by a psion who has stolen Lightning blade as well.

Hey guys i need your help. My last games were in 1.2B(13), and now I tried to -comp my data to 1.2B(16). But my vault chests are empty now...no matter if loaded before or after characters. Repick doesnt help either. And it tells me "successfully loaded". In addition the bag (F2) lost items like accessory, only the garg hammer remained.

Then i tried to -comp from 1.2B(13) to (14), same problems here. Does anyone else have issues with that or know any solution?!? Thanks!!

that is because stash was deleted in the (14) update, read the changelog(14) its listed there

comp bug maybe

in that game i wrote -comp instead of -load on my load to show how to load old codes and after i wrote it i sated lagging like hell and got a dc after around 2 min

the guy is from asia and has all grafics at high and restarted wc3 when he wrote the load he dced he had a 250 ping

Like I said on discord, this will happen when your LAN name is different from your LAN server's account name. For example, if your ENT/Garena account name is "krustycrab", but you put "Patrick" for your LAN name, you will DC as soon as you try to load (in any RPG).
